I have been in doing fantasy football coming on my 11th year and I would like to start my own site. I have searched domain .com and would like to name it somewhere along the lines of fantasy football show .com. I would like to include videos, basically news casts discussing each fantasy player. Its a chance to also put out some information that I may view as important that isnt out there. Also, I would like to post excel spreadsheets that go into detail during drafting or anything else i can pretty much think of. Its more of a keep it funny site that will acompany my funny video's taken with the channel four news team, since I have self proclaimed myself ron burgundy, plus pix of me and chicks out in NC. Its kind of a like a personal site...

Anybody else attemt this, want to try or have any suggestions?

I suggest you don't try and reinvent the wheel. Get yourself known for a niche service that's free-- something handy that people will want to bookmark and make part of their regular fantasy surfing. I don't know what that would be for you, but kffl is the place I go for every up-to-date transaction, footballguys is my board of choice, etc.

If you become a popular place, you'll have enough traffic to get money for banner ads and maybe it will fly. Good luck and make sure you can keep it afloat for a few months on your own in case you need to tweak it before it gets popular.
