Looking at NFC ADP over the last few days RB's taken in ppr drafts in second round:

Listed alphabetically

Achane
Brown
Henry
Irving
Jacobs
Taylor

Rank the above. I'm wavering on about 3 of these

Thanks

I usually stick to alphabetical rankings, just makes the most sense but if I had to break from it I would go

Henry...in the early 1st, these other guys don't belong with him

Jacobs...late first

Irving, Achane, Brown, Taylor... I think. The tough part here is the order of their talent is inverse to the order of their offense quality.

If redraft I got em

Henry. His last big year
Jacobs. Always underrated
Taylor. If they only threw to him
Achane. Durability only concern
Irving. I was wrong last year
Kyren. Big workload coming
Brown. Meh

I'm assuming PPR.

Goodness, people are sleeping on Achane again.
Wide awake, and concerned about his calf, and his QB. And the division in which he plays. I’ll let someone else take him. I understand the upside. He’s fun to watch. Not for me.
Fair enough. Every RB in the 2nd has question marks but I don't think one will have a higher ceiling. The QB concerns existed last year and he was still an elite fantasy back. The calf injury is a worry for sure, but for all we know the Dolphins are being extra cautious and it's nothing to worry about.

My ranking is similar to Hot Sauce and a few others with Achane at the bottom.
Not saying I don’t like him but I know someone else will take him in the 2nd (or late 1st) before I will.

I think Achane has the biggest potential range of outcomes. In PPR—he’s legit a threat to finish the season as the RB1, but he also has the abilty to finish last on the list between health and Miami imploding. I also want to mention that I have Irving, Brown and Jacob’s as basically being almost identical in ranking. All of them should get volume and quality opportunities on teams that should move the ball decently.

I love Bucky and think he's a great player, but I don't expect they're going to load him up the way fantasy players hope. And, if they do, his efficiency numbers might dip. He's not built for a huge workload and White/Tucker are really good RB's in their own right.

He also struggled with some back issues last year that I haven't heard brought up really.

Results from two Redrafts this week:

Achane #12 & #20
Brown #17 & #18
Henry #11 & #8
Irving #26 & #22
Jacobs #24 & #11
Taylor #19 & #10

Henry definitely an end of 1st Rounder.

Henry is going in the first now and he should. He's first over all out of these and its not close.

Achane will have a great year IF his calf is OK. I reluctantly gave him up in my auction keeper as I was worried about a re-injury. Calf injuries are not good, especially for RBs. I don't doubt the talent but I can't risk it right now.

Jacobs and Taylor are my next two.

Then Irving and Brown

All can have good years and I don't mind rostering any of them.

Heard this today

"I think Chase Brown is going to, by the end of the season, be a household name," OC Dan Pitcher tells me. He's everything that Austin Ekeler was. ... I think that by the time the season's over, [you'll all] know who he is."
I think he is a more complete back than I ever really felt about Ekeler (who had great FF despite it)

Amazing that Hall and Pollard could absolutely destroy their ADP. Gladly take them where they are at.
And AJones is likely sitting at 26 or 27 I assume? I’ve been grabbing him as my RB3 in a few drafts in the 6th/7th round.

Ajones is another one. Where did I miss all the Mason hype? Jones was great last year and he will be trusted with them starting their rookie QB.

Why is everyone taking Mason or Jones? Did Jones lose the starting role?

Henry
Jacobs
Brown/Taylor (if PPR)
Taylor/Brown (standard)
Achane
Irving

Yeah, the cliff is coming for Henry eventually, but I'm willing to be a year late. Jacobs' steadiness is underrated. Taylor is also reliable as long as he stays healthy.

My biggest worry about Brown/Achane/Irving is durability. I also worry about the wheels falling off in Miami. And I need to see more than a half season from Irving before I can totally count on him.

Another way of thinking of it: I would feel OK if I walked out of my draft with either of the first four as my RB1. Not so much the last two

I'm all in on Pollard as a solid RB2. Spears injured, offense likely to improve with Ward, and he was pretty good in a dysfunctional situation last year.

Hall may be my toughest call this year (with Kamara a close second). At least with Kamara, it's a fairly straightforward dilemma: can his talent overcome (what we assume will be) a terrible situation, and is the age cliff coming?

With Hall, I just don't know. I think he's very talented, he wasn't nearly as bad last year as you remember, the offense is likely to improve from terrible to mediocre, and he's a good pass catcher. But the Jets really seem to be signaling that they're preparing to move on, and not in a "We'll run him into the ground in the meantime" kind of way like the Cowboys did with DeMarco Murray back in the day. I could see taking him as my RB2 and being thrilled, and I could see myself by Week 10 wondering what the hell I was thinking
