Zombie Meat: What’s your explanation for what’s going on in this video? (1 Viewer)

Would you eat the rest of that meat on your plate?

Muscles continue to contract after the animal is dead. Chickens will run around after being decapitated. That's nature.
Instead of citing theories from stupid people from the internet, a simple explanation by scientist would have been a better option by the Daily Mail.

Thanks, Sheldon.

There are spasms that occur in muscles after an animal is technically killed. Then there is this piece of meat that looks like it has arms that is propelling itself/swimming off the plate in an attempt to get free.

To me? Seems very fake -- not an involuntary spasm but an effort to make it look like sentient meat.

So my vote is doctored video -- got to ask why they were filming like that in the first place.

Still wouldn't touch that plate, though -- one way or another, someone was fiddling with my food in a non-prep kinda way.

It's 2019 and people still aren't aware of how biology works? There are tons of similar videos of squirming animals in restaurants.

Search youtube for "food still alive". I'm stunned that this seems to be a new thing for so many people.

True, usually in east Asia, but those videos generally show the meat pulsating or moving on the plate.

Have we seen a video where the meat looks more like it’s intentionally and actively moving to escape from the plate?

You must be fun at parties.

Yes, octopus tentacles that have nowhere to go but off the plate. They'll also stick to the eater's face and mouth to fight from being swallowed. But I never thought they were zombies.
