WR Josh Gordon, KC (16 Viewers)

I follow the mock drafts and up to yesterday he was going in 10 team mocks  8-9  round now seems he as jumped to 6th round. And ofcourse when you have a Gordon fan (his rookie card sits on my desk) he can go as high as round 4-5 but only a personal fan takes him 5 or below due to missing 1/3 of the fantasy season and potential to screw up  but as of now seems he is going 6th round with the occasional 5th round.

wait and see, why?

was either catch, in any way shape or form, due to a fluke? cuz it looked to me like gordon looked like gordon, doing things that gordon does.

Guys we are drafting with were saying the only thing besides the 4 game suspension that were worrisome about Gordon is RGIII getting beat up and looking like a rag doll.

Someone else made the point but the week 13 bye is a negative. Right when you need a win to get in the playoffs he's once again not available.

In my leagues, a win in week 13 isn't worth any more than the other weeks so I'm good.
The worth of a win isn't the entire question. The makeup of your roster on a weekly basis is important depending on your league schedule and real-life match ups. e.g., You may have a cream puff opponent in week 13 so going Gordon-less is no problem, or possibly a tough divisional match up which actually does make the win more important.

The greater point is people are talking round 4 or 5 for Gordon right now even though you'll only be getting 8 regular season fantasy games out of him. None at the beginning and one less at the end. Beginning and end is when many leagues schedule their divisional games. Just saying...

At the draft was looked at like huh when I took him 4th round and now woke up to this morning to the first of probably many trade offers for him. The first incase anyone is caring the trade was Arian Foster, Zack Ertz and Vincent Jackson for Gordon..
Did you jump on that trade or did you pass based on two catches in a preseason game?

Gordon sucked when he came back from his last suspension.

I was able to get Gordon with the 8th pick in the 7th round of a 14-team league last night.  Pretty happy with it.
That's a bargain - exactly where I'd be a buyer. Good job by you, bad job by the other 13 dudes in your league.  RGIII's inconsistency and that OL temper my excitement for him a bit, but there's no doubt he'll win you some weeks if he can stay off the hippy lettuce.

I grabbed him at the 8.12-9.01 turn.  The guy at 8.11-9.02 admitted that he effed up and should have taken him before the turn.  Hurray for me!

I've gotten him as my WR3 8.4 of a 12 team league. (that was around preseason Week 2 before his appearance)

I've also got him as my WR4 9.2 of an 8 team league. (held last night) People flipped out!

Both cases, Gordon is my first WR on the bench so I don't need to rely on him as much. Gonna try and draft him a bit earlier from now on . It was pretty scary pushing that since I really want to be on the ride.

As what -  your WR2, WR3?
I was the guy who drafted him at 8.11 in my PPR league and solicited groans from a few owners who were obviously eyeing him in the 9th. He's my WR4 behind Julio, Jeffery, and Crabtree but I'm hoping he'll be my WR3 starting in week 5.

I nabbed him as my wr4 in 12 team ppr at 6.11.  Maybe a little early, but a luxury pick in light of who I passed on taking if he booms instead of busts.  I think the former and not the latter.

I've been doing a couple mock drafts for my 14 team draft tomorrow, and he has gone in the 4th and 5th as a WR2.  A little too rich for my blood.

I know someone's going to jump on this guy at the end of the 4th/early 5th in my league tonight.   Sucks, as I've been locked on taking a chance on him since the beginning of the summer.  Kids,....... that's why you always want to draft early in the summer.  Drafting at the end of the summer, after the 3rd preseason game helps the pikers, guppies and jabronies way more than the Sharks.

So looking back, I've had Josh Gordon on at least one team every year that he has played. I'm looking forward to having him this season. I thought I slightly over paid for him in auction ($16 but was looking to get him for $11).

It would be cool to get a new Josh Gordon gif with the same Vince McMahon reactions, i.e. Josh Gordon ready to return, Josh Gordon scores his first TD in 3 years, Josh Gordon looking like a top ten option each week, Josh Gordon finishes as top WR despite missing 4 games.

I was kinda hoping that he would have a quiet preseason so that my decision to keep Rawls over Gordon would be easier (& I could then get Gordon later in my draft)... now, I'm not so sure.

Thanks a lot Josh!

Got him at 8.8 last night, WR3, but only have to start 2 WRs in this league as the 3rd spot is a flex and I got 3 decent RBs. Happy as heck after watching his routes in that RGIII hookup. What an adjustment to go along with all his other natural abilities. He looked 3x the size as the corner trying to keep up with him. Looked like a little kid next to him.

Took him @ 7.05 in my 12 teamer today as my WR3. I'll have to get by with Fuller or Thomas or Treadwell until then.

He went right after Sanders/Hurns/Parker and I took him over Shepard/Crabtree/DeSean/Austin. I can live with that.

Where's the screenshot of offensive PI where Gordon is pushing the defender right before the catch?
