So f'ing tired....forgot how tiring puppies are. Our oldest dog (10 going on 11) is fading fast and our younger dog (6/7) is severely attached to her. So we got a puppy for middle dog....and I forgot how tiring it is. This is Walker (not Texas Ranger). Catahoula Leopard dog and he's 3 months old. I'm ####### tired.
Catahoulas/dogahoulas are some of the finest dogs on the planet.  True working dogs.  Make sure he's got something to do.  I've got some experience with them, let me know if you have any questions.

Some GBs and I looked into it. It's worse than a bowling league. 34 weeks. Have to join the "club" and volunteer at at least 6 fundraising functions per year. And this is for the beginner league. FTN

There's one league  in Cedarburg we could do without the volunteering and stuff but screw driving that far on a Tuesday. We drink far too much.
In laws live a block from it.

I wasn't but definitely thanks for offering, appreciate it. He's one of the easiest going puppies I have ever come across, but we plan on going through obedience and once he's old enough he'll likely be running with my wife once a day plus other various walks/playing/dog park/etc....

No power from Friday, 7:30am until Sunday at 2pm.  Friday, took the family out for pizza, which is a bold move because the twins are about as enjoyable as a sandpaper dildo so dining out isn't something we really do anymore.  But we went, made the most out of it, came home and prepared for a night without power.  Found a bunch of candles but no holders so I fashioned a bunch of holders by cutting empty beer cans and using them.  Built a roaring fire, bathed the twins using a camping lantern for light.  We told stories, played word games and generally had a pleasant evening.

By the end of Saturday night, all that campiness and charm was gone and was replaced with anger and despair.  I don't know how we made it without power for thousands of years.  Olden days is stupid.

Not sure why I picked today to fall for this whole "April the giraffe is definitely giving birth today" live stream, but I can quit now, right?
Hippling this because I've been insanely busy at work but some broad at work has been glued to this for about three weeks now and tells me every time I pass by her desk that April's gonna have that baby any minute now.

Best meme is that April is just trying to keep her man and is faking the whole thing.

This time for sure everybody- don't leave that youtube link, you're going to miss something.

superstorm sandy sucked. especially sucked because there was a clear line drawn in manhattan where people had power and where they didn't. I remember heading uptown with a young floppinho to try to take a friend up on his offer to let us charge phones, computers and take showers at his place. but got uptown and the ####er wasn't home. had some shop-owner bang on his window to try to make us leave the sidewalk just in front of his restaurant while I tried to figure out our next move... I stormed into the place and started screaming at him like he was an 11yo in my way on the subway.

but other than it being freezing cold, I actually liked the removal from electronics and having us a family get down to basics, getting up and sleeping with the sun. our normally annoying party-area neighborhood only had the people left who had nowhere to go- and it was exceedingly friendly and small-town we're-all-in-this-together vibe. pretty great.

:lmao:

Older kid did that once.  He probably locked his keys in the car 3 times his first year of driving.

Finally made him a door lock only key and put it in a hide-a-key.
Since getting his permit, I think this is #3 for locking the keys in the car. #2 for the leaving it running. Today, he didn't realize it until he was done with school and went back out to the car to come home. So it sat there idling for 7ish hours.

And the apple didn't fall far from the tree. I did it once at a Cubs game. Walking out after 3+ hours, I start feeling for my keys and nothing. Panic sets in, go back to the seats we had and nothing. Got to the car and look on the seat and they aren't there. As I start determining my next steps, I lean against the car and for a moment I wonder why my ### is vibrating.

My brother called me in a panic one time cause he had locked his keys in his car on a hot day with the dog in it.  I sped over there, we were hunting around for a large rock, happened to be on the passenger side, dog is happily sticking his head out the window, was wide open the whole time.

When in Vegas,  Mrs. SLB wanted to eat at Giada's restaurant. She made reservations a couple of months in advance. Right after we walk in The Cromwell where the restaurant is located this gal walks up to us and starts firing hard on Mrs. SLB. "OMG YOU are SO beautiful!!!" and so on. It was pretty hot.

We both needed to use the restroom beforehand and I missed paths with her. No worries, some guy I had never seen in my life taps me on the shoulder and directs me to my wife. Keep in mind we're still in the casino at that point. To be fair, she was looking fine.

Is it that I used the word "proper"?  My college boyfriend made fun of me for saying "Boston proper" once.  I'm still scarred by that.
I either wasn't aware or forgot (both possible) that you were on house number 3 in the Seattle area.  Assuming I'm reading the tea leaves correctly here.
