what do recommend?  I find that Tabasco adds "front of the tongue" heat only that obliterates a lot of other subtleties in the food.

For a basic fermented pepper sauce, I prefer Crystal over Frank's or Tabasco.  I avoid Texas Pete's on principle since it's made in NC.  I like Valentino for Bloody Mary's due to its thick er consistency. For fancier sauces, one of our own makes some good sauces commercially:

I thought he was Hotsauceguy but not seeing that come up.

Oh yeah, I meant to mention Lucky Dog as well.  Scott makes fantastic sauces in a wide variety of heats and flavors.  Never had one I didn't like.

maybe refrigerating hot sauces is what Rage Against the Machine was raging against????

I'm pretty sure they were just raging against Irvine, CA having too many white people (FWIW, I guess they won, cuz it's mostly Chinesed now).

Hey expert!  We refrigerate your sauces after opening.  Thoughts?

Depends on the sauce. Hell Hound, El Perro Afortunado, White Labelle & Heat’s a Peach can be kept out. The rest should go in the fridge after opening.

Sold our house in less than 48 hours. 17 showings on Thursday, 4 offers. 8 showings on Friday, 4 more offers.

Accepted the last offer at 23.5k over asking price.

What can I expect my gift?

I would have had the gift-giving play a role in which offer I accepted, but I guess that ship has sailed.

Congrats!!!

have heard good things about Secret Aardvark from some of the beer guys

Secret aardvark is a really good mild-to-med sauce Out of Portland OR, made by a friend of mine named Rob (son of the creator who sadly passed not too long back) - super nice folks, and delicious & versatile flavor profile. Highly recommended.

You are truly going where no man has gone before. Please report back. Godspeed.

I screwed it up, but I learned a valuable lesson.  I learned that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than men who mention it.

sorry if this is a Honda - but saw it today on twitter - described as possibly the world's greatest commercial

There’s no way this is real, right? Or if it is, it’s gotta be tongue in cheek. I mean, no way someone legit says “this is where my wife’s boyfriend hit me”

Lol. Of all the things in that video, that was exactly the thing that stood out to me too. And wasn't it "hit me with a 2x4"? Because a fist fight wasn't enough.

I saw this video several years ago.  Things were a little different then.

Which airline?  Are they enforcing the mask-wearing?

American.  They say they are but I’m in first class so everyone walked past me boarding.  About 1/3 weren’t.  The safety speech now says they’re going to walk through the cabin to make sure everyone is wearing a face covering. She didn’t.  And there is no booze.
