I like 982 a lot.

The best NFL officials don't nickel and dime and showboat and throw their flags at every opportunity, like Steratore and Hochuli do.  Right @The Ref?  Cheffers mostly stays in the background and I think this crew will follow suit. UNDER 11.5 penalties accepted for all the marbles.

Also Gill Alexander mentioned on his podcast Cheffers' crews are known to not throw the flags a lot.

Flags tend to stay in the pockets in really big games.  Nobody wants to be that guy who gets involved in the game....... unless you are the type of ref to be that guy.

Im already in at under 12.5

our GB john bender also has Steele at 40/1.  hopefully one of them can hang on.  still lots of golf to be played obviously, I just can't pass up a chance to make a locking in profits joke.
:)   I was actually trying to figure out how much you'd have to bet on "The Field" to lock in a profit at this point.  Still admire the call though.  I did notice it when you posted it...just too busy at work to pull out the phone and tail dammit.

I need a little help from you degenerates.

I'm in a survivor pool at work.  It has come down to 3 of us.  The super bowl is for all the marbles.

We just have to pick the winner and guess the point total as a tie breaker.

Who would you pick and what total?

And I found out from this SBR thread that I have bet on a team trotting a dog out named "Lucky" who has 3 legs.

:bag:

Does this make sense?

1st player to make TD

Blount +500

Edelman +600

Julio Jones + 600

1St Patriot player to score TD

Edelman +200

Blount +240

The patriot player numbers seem backwards to me. If Blount is top of all players he should be top of Patriots players too. Right?

spreadsheet update
Thanks. I have 24u and zero pending wagers. I'm thinking about sitting the entire SB out this year, actually. There's a Microwave Cooking for One class I wanted to check out at church on Sunday anyway. The woman who teaches it is recently divorced and has really big boobs.

Brady 24-9 SU and 16-16-1 ATS in the playoffs with a 16-17 O/U. Points Pats scored and the final margin of the nine losses:

date points margin
20060114 13 -14
20130120 13 -15
20080203 14 -3
20100110 14 -19
20140119 16 -10
20120205 17 -4
20160124 18 -2
20110116 21 -7
20070121 34 -4

They only went o21 points in one of their nine playoff losses. First Super Bowl wager! One unit down, twenty-three units to go:

Patriots Under 21½ +603
