Are we really not going to talk about Jeremy McNichols?

McNichols has an outstanding athletic profile and was pretty productive in college.
Not a very powerful RB but he has some decent speed and wiggle to his game. I question his vision as despite his ability he isn't all that creative and can't really run between the tackles at the NFL level.
He failed to learn the Bucs play book and was let go by them after camp last season.
Lol, I meant he has no thread and he’s the de facto starter in a prolific system right now.
Then start a thread if there isn't one.
I think that's kind of the thing ... the situation is ripe for someone to provide some value. McKinnon will be the lead guy, but he needs a between-the-tackles complement, IMO (which isn't exactly a hot taek). The question is who's left standing.https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/49ers-jeremy-mcnichols-sees-bulk-of-running-back-reps-in-loss/
i didn’t get to see him play. Bit of a subpar rushing line but he caught 3 of 4 balls. If he ends up last man standing he’ll have PPR value.
Yeah, probably as much as Jonathan Williams has been the last few years.Hard to believe this guy is back on the radar
Ha yeah he came out of nowhere but I actually started him last year for a game or 2 and got good production. I’m thinking of stashing McNichols in real deep leagues.Yeah, probably as much as Jonathan Williams has been the last few years.
Isn't he capable of standing on his own?Ha yeah he came out of nowhere but I actually started him last year for a game or 2 and got good production. I’m thinking of standing McNichols in real deep leagues.
Based on his work so far in the NFL, I’m not certain.Isn't he capable of standing on his own?
Jeremy McNichols rushed five times for 51 yards in the Titans' Week 6 win over the Texans, adding two receptions for 11 additional yards.
With Darrynton Evans (hamstring) on injured reserve, McNichols has served as Derrick Henry's clear-cut backup since the Titans returned from their coronavirus exile, handling 17 touches in two games. That's not nothing, but McNichols is being employed as a pure breather back. What we have learned is that McNichols would likely form a committee with Evans were Henry to ever go down with injury. It is unknown how much longer Evans might be sidelined. He is required to miss at least two more contests.

Jeremy McNichols caught 8-of-12 targets for 74 yards, adding 11 yards on one carry in the Titans' Week 4 loss to the Jets.
McNichols is the pass-catching back alongside Derrick Henry, and he saw increased usage with the Titans operating in negative script for part of the game and A.J. Brown and Julio Jones out. He'll likely have a few usable weeks, but McNichols is certainly not going to be a dependable option on a weekly basis.
I snagged him but watching the situation close. Titans are bringing in Adrian Peterson for a workout this week. Personally I think ADP would be the guy to have if he signs.he's PPR
he's also #1 RB for Titans now it appears
thoughts? if you have Henry, get him? if you have Mcnichols do you trade him now ?
Bucs selected Boise State RB Jeremy McNichols with the No. 162 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
McNichols (5’9/214) turned pro after three years at Boise, starting the final two and twice earning second-team All-Mountain West. He posted a career 571-3,205-44 (5.61 YPC) rushing line with 103 receptions, including 88 grabs over his final two years. PFF College charted McNichols with just two career drops. Also one of the best blitz-pickup backs in the draft, McNichols allowed just one sack over his final 237 pass-blocking snaps per PFF. McNichols helped himself in Indy, posting top-six SPARQ results among running backs with a 4.49 forty and 6.93 three-cone time. Similar to Travaris Cadet, McNichols profiles best as a passing-down specialist with a chance to develop into a Bilal Powell type.
AP just signed.I snagged him but watching the situation close. Titans are bringing in Adrian Peterson for a workout this week. Personally I think ADP would be the guy to have if he signs.
Yup and I'm not going to pretend that I know how much AP has left in the tank but as a downhill runner to replace Henry it's hard to imagine a more similar fit.AP just signed.
Yes but this isn’t bad for McNichols. We all know how poor Peterson is at catching the ball. McNichols may not be the bell cow but his role increases significantly with the Peterson signing.Yup and I'm not going to pretend that I know how much AP has left in the tank but as a downhill runner to replace Henry it's hard to imagine a more similar fit.

He does seem to fit the 3rd down/long yardage back. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a better first game than AP since Rams figure to be ahead. But if we are talking rest of season I think AP is the guy, especially in standard formats.Want to put in for him in waivers, but concerned that even if AP flames out, they will find another body and won't use McNichols for more than about 4-5 catches a game and a handful of carries.
Plus Foreman got some, correct?Identical routes run and targets to the week before when Henry played
Im not talking carries just receivingPlus Foreman got some, correct?
Probably the #2 behind Ekeler who looks certain to play this week.Anything here with BRob not practicing yesterday or today and Ekeler coming back from concussion?
Right but is he playable because he was the #2 last week and put up a good game?Probably the #2 behind Ekeler who looks certain to play this week.Anything here with BRob not practicing yesterday or today and Ekeler coming back from concussion?
Only if you are in dire straits do you start him.Right but is he playable because he was the #2 last week and put up a good game?Probably the #2 behind Ekeler who looks certain to play this week.Anything here with BRob not practicing yesterday or today and Ekeler coming back from concussion?
Matchup is god awful and he’s produced in somewhat blowout scenarios. Understand the reasoning though. 16-18 team typeRobinson is a GTD.
McNichols could be usable as a flex or desparation RB2 if you need the help--assuming Robinson misses.
I've seen this story before. He will play couple snaps in 1st quarter then bye bye & you're screwed. No way I'm starting him.Robinson practiced today so McNichols probably nothing more than a handcuff.
Let’s be fully honest — he practiced in a limited capacity.Robinson practiced today so McNichols probably nothing more than a handcuff.
