President Trump is celebrating the one-year anniversary of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's impeachment push with his highest approval rating in a year.
Today’s Rasmussen Reports said Trump’s approval rating is 53%, a height it has reached only three other times since his first month in office when support jumped to nearly 60%.
Ironically, Rasmussen noted, the last time Trump was at 53% was when Pelosi announced that the House would begin impeachment proceedings.
Still Rasmussen. Still an outlier. If this was truly legitimate there would be at least one other reputable (per 538) polling organization that had similar results - but there are none (in fact none at 50% or above that I am aware of).
Trump's current approval rating with likely voters is 43.9%, down from closer to 44.3% a couple weeks back, but a good bounce from his recent history low of 40.4% in July. Seems he's leveled off at around 44% here, not much significant change in September thus far.
