Ooh chili lime. interesting. Also that one above sounds cool. Think I'm going to go with my homemade cajun rub for this first pumpkin, but we have, seriously, 13 pumpkins this year so I will have plenty of chances to try new recipes. Will defintely try the one posted and find some kind of chili lime thing too.I don't, but one of my favorite vendors at the Beaverton Farmer's Market specializes in roasted pumpkin seeds. The Chili Lime are incredible. I bet you could duplicate something like that. I've never made these at home. What do you do, was the seeds and toast them in the oven with oils and/or seasoning? Is that all there is to it? Having to clean pumpkin seeds is one of the most aggravating things you'll ever do.I've never made these at home. What do you do, was the seeds and toast them in the oven with oils and/or seasoning? Remember how I told you guys my daughter was going to some churchy preschool? Today I dropped her off and all the kids had a picture that said “God keeps me safe when ________” and then the teacher filled in whatever they said and they drew a picture of it. Most of the ones I saw were of the “when I’m playing with my dad” or “when I’m playing with my mom” or “when there’s a fire” kind of stuff. Abby’s said, “God keeps me safe when there are dinosaurs” and she drew a picture of a dinosaur coming after her. I laughed the whole way to work.

I am currently working with Uruk Hai and GM trying to put together a cornhole. We're thinking SB weekend in Austin would be a good target. Nothing is firmed up yet, but I'm interested in the initial reaction to Feb 1 - Feb 4. If your boss won;t let you off the day after the Superbowl, you should quit.

Feb and March are tough for me. I have a couple of week long vacations and maybe a spring training trip with Zilla in the works.

With people coming from all over, having an oppty for a 3 day weekend is pretty important. Flying in from either coast Friday eve and leaving Sun is pretty brutal. I've never had a job where I couldn't request off the Monday after the SB, esp. if requested far in advance.
