Looks like I'm going with the Jacobs Bradshaw Combo this week too. My other options are an injured LT2 vs. Pitt and Donald Brown. 200 yards rushing and a TD or 2 would make me happy between those two.
I've got Jacobs in my keeper league and I don't consider him a first round RB. In games where he's health he still loses carries to the backup RB's. Bradshaw will get plenty of time this year just like Ward did last year. The GTD is a problem, but also the fact that if he get's hurt in a game...
I'm looking for a replacement for Colston as well this week but I'm leaving Rice on my bench and starting Patten who has always been steady since his days in NE. I've also got Deshawn on my bench but I'm waiting one more week to see how he plays vs. Dallas. Honestly I don't see Rice getting...
I'm not sure any of the WRs on your list not named Moss, Harrison and Owens have much of a chance to get in. And Moss and Owens need to play at a high level for another 3+ years. These three guys have consistently been top 3 since the late 90s and assuming Moss get's back on track with the...
After last year I'm really not sure how to project O-Line. Winston Justice was shown as a top 10 draft picks in a lot of mocks and he didn't go until the 2nd. Jonathon Scott looked like a 2nd round pick and he didn't go until the 4th. I've got 4 O-Lineman in the first round and that's...
I'm not quite the draft quru that a lot of guys are on this site, but I thought it would be fun to throw my predicitons for the first round out there. I added a few trades just for the fun of it. Let me know what you think.
1. Oakland - Jamarcus Russel - QB
In the end I think Russel will be...
I love the Lions/ATL trade. That would be great if they could trade down and still get Adams. I think that's who Marinelli has wanted all along.
Nice mock.
This is going to make my decision of what 2 RBs to keep very difficult.
I'm picking between Benson, MBIII and Brandon Jacobs.
I think MBIII may be the best of the bunch talent wise but I'm going to have to wait it out and see who has the best opportunity.
I disagree. If Jones tears up the opponents D's in the NFC championship and Superbowl I can see him holding out next season and demanding a huge new contract or trade. He's getting older and a year means a lot to a RB. If he has two more big games this year it could mean a big paycheck next...
No, stud Teir 1 and Tier 2 Rbs still typically still have decent games against tough D's. Sure there's the occassional week where LT2 only gets 17 yards but you always start LT2. You don't worry about the matchup. Even Teir 2 RB's like Rudi and Parker shouldn't leave you second guessing to...
So far Gore has run great against weak D's and poorly against tough D's. Against KC and Philly he's averaged about 5 pts and around 15 pts against AX, StL, and Oak. San Diego D will be the toughest matchup he's played so far. I don't see the 9er offense getting going at all against these...
Looks like a bad week to have Ronnie Brown, Willy Parker and Chester Taylor as your 2 starting RBs and flex spot. I should know by Thursday night if I won or lost week 1.
I didn't include Fitz and Harrison in this discussion for the reasons I mentioned above and also because I thought the discussion would be more productive and focused if we looked at only 3 WRs instead of 5. So is there anyone out there who is taking Moss or Owens over Holt?
It really looks...
