I've always hated FF playoffs in the regular season and have refused to use them. I've been toying with a different idea and I'd like to hear what the SP thinks.
Play entire regular season H2H (maybe exclude week 17).
Top 8 teams make playoffs.
Hold a redraft with those 8 teams.
Draft is...
Icky Woods - don't remember the year but I think he went on IR after 1st week. Blew the league away anyway with Montana and Rice (I think it was Rice's breakout year)
About 20 years ago in a TD only league I was up 16pts going into MNF and my opponent just had Merrill Hoge left. Obviously (or I wouldn't be posting this here) Hoge scores 3X against Denver. Being a Steeler fan eased some of the pain but my buddy and I still bring it up every once in a while.
I run a PPR league with penalties for interceptions. QB gets 1 pt for passing on the conversion and Receiver gets 2. What should be done about interceptions (Brady last night)? CBSsportline did not penalize.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
I've had Brown penciled in all week over Jacobs but I think I'm about to make the change and hope Jacobs plays. I'm still flipping back and forth between the two and may end up just going with the scientific method of flipping a coin.
There was an even worse decision made that I haven't heard of anyone mentioning. After the initial ruling on Holmes being down at the 1, it would have been 4th down. Ben called timeout with about 24 sec on the clock? He should have waited until there was just 1 sec left. It was the last play...
I'm starting Jacob's this week after getting burned by benching him in weeks 10,11,12 and 14. I'm benching Hightower who has a great matchup this week. I'm just letting everyone know because this means Hightower is going to go off and Jacobs is going to suck.
