Good pick by KC, & Da Bears just missed out
disagree. cassel doesnt keep plays alive, throw up jumpballs. baldwin's good stuff isnt that much different than bowe. also think baldwin was mid second, big reach. cassel is mediocre, will be exposed vs tougher schedule.'Jeff Pasquino said:Great pick for KC. Cassel value up.
not really'Buckna said:Bowe value just took a hit.
What player would you like to see for them?Anxiously awaiting the Bears to screw this up.
Green, Fairley, Quinn, Amukamara, Ingram'RebelINS said:Sig, just started listening to the livecast. What do you and Waldman think are the best picks so far?'Sigmund Bloom said:
Not sure I like Bowers as a 3-4 OLB.Now that Ingram is gone, look for Bowers to the Pack.
every year. rinse repeatNE picks at 33 anyways and they get an extra 2 this year and a 1 next year. Ridiculous.
Big kid from WisconsinWhat player would you like to see for them?Anxiously awaiting the Bears to screw this up.
We'll have to agree to disagree, but I like the extra target for KC here, a big need. Plus Nnamdi is out of the division, which certainly helps.disagree. cassel doesnt keep plays alive, throw up jumpballs. baldwin's good stuff isnt that much different than bowe. also think baldwin was mid second, big reach. cassel is mediocre, will be exposed vs tougher schedule.'Jeff Pasquino said:Great pick for KC. How would Bowers fit the 3-4?Now that Ingram is gone, look for Bowers to the Pack.
How so? They aren't exactly a passing powerhouse. Sustaining 2 fantasy WR's is rough to do. Bowe is in the last year of his contract and his team just spent a 1st on WR.not really'Buckna said:Bowe value just took a hit.

I imagine PT just got his "pack your bags" hint. Think he is traded as soon as FA opens.I was worried about Ingram's chances if he went to a team with a bad oline. On the Saints? Wow, he's going to be good. Not thrilled about splitting time with Thomas for 2010...But he is going to a great place. He will help New Orleans a lot. Pierre Thomas and especially Chris Ivory owners just threw up.
They didn't screw it up by you estimation. Please Carimi.
You got what you wanted. He's a very good player. Big fan - hoped he would fall to the Pack at 32.Big kid from WisconsinWhat player would you like to see for them?Anxiously awaiting the Bears to screw this up.
Chicago grabs Gabe Carimi, OT Wisconsin.
Good value by Bears there. They didn't screw it up by you estimation. Please Carimi.
I definitely expect Thomas to be traded. Good player who could just never stay healthy.I imagine PT just got his "pack your bags" hint. He's twice the back Thomas is. Ingram might take awhile to take over the starting role, since Thomas is the vet with the ring....but Ingram will be the man in time. That system is perfect for him. Ivory and Thomas were average talents that did well due to huge running lanes and a great offensive coach.Ingram is a GREAT talent. Perfect fit for dynasty purposes. Re-draft it's kind of a mess, but we'll see.New Orleans is perfect for Ingram. They can use Bush the way they'd like and split carries with Thomas, I think Ingram will keep fresh and have some great games but still have a boom or bust potential with some 40 yard games on limited carries. He has the skills to get 'er done.
Interesting pick here. Good value, but he comes from a run-dominant program in Wisconsin. Now Mike Tice will work him in to the line for Mike Martz' offense. Stock up for Forte I think and Tice should work him in nicely overall. Good pick for the Bears.Chicago grabs Gabe Carimi, OT Wisconsin.
Think Brooks Reed, Akeem Ayers, Bruce Carter better fits. Jabaal Sheard, too.Not sure I like Bowers as a 3-4 OLB.Now that Ingram is gone, look for Bowers to the Pack.
They been needed a guy like that for a long time. Couldn't be happier for once in a Bears draft. You got what you wanted. He's a very good player. They need all the help they can get to handle that Lions D-line, should be very interesting. Love the NFC North in the coming years.Good value by Bears there. They didn't screw it up by you estimation. Please Carimi.
Baldwin is two years away IMHO and Bowe will go to the highest bidder if he gets the chance. How so? They aren't exactly a passing powerhouse. Sustaining 2 fantasy WR's is rough to do. Pierre and Ivory have always been marginal talents...let's not pretend this is some huge surprise.crap, thought i dodged the bullet/Pierre&Ivory owner in multiple leagues LOL
I agree with you totally but I actually hope NO eases him in and gives him 12-15 carries a game before handing over the reigns. I'm as high on Ingram as anyone and think he'll be great he has all the tools IMO.He's twice the back Thomas is.
