Gambling question for pickem pools.

I'm tied in the lead with four other guys in a pick em pool going into tomorrow night. I can switch my pick up to game time. It's not against the spread so the obvious choice is to take Washington. However, I have to assume that all three other guys take them too so it'll turn on total points (o/u is 59.5 and I have 47 currently in).

So, is it a better gamble to stick with the favorite and hope to nail the total points or is it better to take the underdog, hoping you're the only one to have them?

Haven't withdrawn with a good old fashioned gambling check in awhile. Bitcoin has me spoiled.

Intertops withdrawal #2. Love this site.

That 15.5 was just silly against Dallas' ball control.  Even 14.5, thanks Kurt and your baby limits.

unc +3.5 in Sun Bowl.

GD, I heard this news on the way to the office and was going to run in and lock it in quick and a stupid title rep was waiting for me with her
spiel and by the time I got her out of the office it was off the board. ####.

what happened?

what happened?
Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey announced he will not play in the school's bowl game against UNC.
The impact of Jaylon's Smiths knee injury from last bowl season is obvious. Leonard Fournette announced last week he would not play in LSU's bowl game, and McCaffrey has decided on doing the same. McCaffrey has been the focal point of the school's offense over the last two seasons, both as a runner and a receiver. Expect this move to become a trend, with top players electing to not play in a mostly meaningless game in order to avoid the chance of injury. McCaffrey missed time in October with an undisclosed injury.

Any body know the betting split on the game?  Where is or is there a best "work friendly" place to find this info?  Best twitter follow?
Sportsbookreview is probably the best imo.  Their consensus data seems to come from slightly sharper books as the splits aren't nearly as massive.

Sportsinsights, Pregame and Wagertalk are a few other free ones.  Sportsbook.ag also has them under "Betting Trends" but you need to have an account to see them.

Sportsinsights and William Hill will Tweet bet % and money % occasionally for select games on Twitter.

Sportsinsights is offering bet money percentages with their Insider subscription.  I might try it out during bowl season for $149 for one month.

Greek and BOL tweet out "sharp" plays all the time but I've always been leery of their motivation to do so.

The Panthers will most likely be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention during Sunday’s games. But they’re keeping Kuechly ‘questionable,’ which probably means he’ll only play in Washington Monday night if a postseason run is somehow still possible.

Many fans have wondered why the Panthers wouldn’t shut down Kuechly, who’s suffered two concussions in as many seasons. But instead of throwing caution to the wind, it appears the team will choose to be cautious with their most valuable defensive player. The sense now is Kuechly won’t play again in 2016, which will allow A.J. Klein, who’s in a contract year, to extend his starting audition. http://blackandbluereview.com/luke-kuechly-unlikely-to-play-again-in-2016/

Riverboat Ronald Rivera 22-18 ATS and 25-14-1 O/U as the dog (7-7 ATS and 14-0 O/U catching > 6 points).
Opposing teams lined ≤ -6 versus Panthers/Rivera have gone 12-3-1 SU and 15-1 O/U (15-0 O/U scoring > 9 points; 57±11 combined ppg). The fave averaged 35±8 points per game in the 12 wins. They only went 7-9 ATS but when they covered did so by averaging 38±7 ppg.

I wish I had the time to do that, but would be awesome to track, and reply at the end of the bowl season. Call them on their BS, it's a sports book so I doubt their motivation is to help the players.

"Yeah we took some sharp action but the line has since moved 2 points. Please have some scraps "
