*** OFFICIAL *** FFA WAGERING THREAD - Merry Christmas!!! (4 Viewers)

I'd like to take a hammer to the face of every basketball player that wears leggings under their shorts. Why the #### do you need pantyhose?

Since calendar year 2015 Nuggets 13-2 SU and 14-1 ATS with a 13-2 O/U lined < 7 looking at a road game after playing > 1 consecutive games at home. Typing that sounds kind of arbitrary now, but all those W's and O's sure look good. Too bad it's no Faried with Jokic/Gallinari questionable or else I'd get me a piece of that you know what I'm sayin'.
"Both Nikola Jokic and Danilo Gallinari will start for Denver tonight against Boston."

Oh, Schlitz! Gonna have to do it, even though it looks like the line got all stepped-on already.

So after watching The Best of It, Alan Boston who is profiled throughout the documentary and has bet college basketball professionally for 25+ years posts plays constantly on Twitter @bostonred88

With the tournament coming up, :suggestedfollow:

Where'd you find that documentary? I've been looking for that.

Boston is old-school. Like notebooks with hand-calculated power ratings for every team old school. EVERY d1 team.

He used to crush, I don't know if the books have caught up to him yet. He seems like he's analytical on the front-end, but dude gets emotionally invested IIRC and fires off big bets on teams he likes. @tjnc09 can probably evaluate the guy better than I can, but dunno if he's producing CLV.

Also frequently tilted on Twitter. Like a crankier Swirv when one of his bets goes awry.

Chandler bet on SB.ag fwiw.

Yeah I was going to chime in that I heard him on a podcast either last year or two years ago and was blown away, in a bad way, that this guy was one of the best and most analytical bettors around.  It basically came off that he was losing now, and he was whining about it.  Respect for a legend and one of the old school guys and all that, but he was not impressive.

Ex father in law placed a parlay with me today. He took Iowa St and hit the first leg. He then took Richmond -3 and that was a push. He thinks I wagered them for him but I just take his bets myself. Is this a loser or do I pay him based on the ISU single game?

Haha still did the notebook power ratings as of 2011 when the doc came out. 2 binders, A-L and M-Y (no Z colleges), said he has 0 intention of changing. Showed him updating the binders per game and pulling out old binders where he called a team wrong to start a season and change immediately and hammer them balance of season, WVU in 2011 I think was the example. Guy is an animal, said he watches 17 hours of college a day in the 5 month season. Also barely blinks when talking.

Single game, ties reduce. You ARE the book here.

Well even if he's losing now, that doc is outstanding. Whole piece with the real Dink who Bruce Willis played in Lay the Favorite. Whole thing is 2 hours and it flies, fun watch.

Oh yeah, I definitely want to see that.
Did a whole piece on the Stardust too and how they wanted to keep the feel of making their own lines and kept their boards manual in the early 80s when computers were coming into play. Talked about how professionals that had computer models would absolutely abuse this and line moves until the casino literally emploded.

BTW, Ace Sportsbook are some ####### crooks. Same layout/odds as 1Vice, except run by crooks/penny-pinchers, not rubes. Would not advise for anyone who has any interest in actually winning.

BOL graded it a winner, hoping they don't change it to NA
How can a book hang a 10 (some did) and then later on say no action because of a mercy rule (a 10 run lead).

the total is ten..... except of one team scores all the runs.
