1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 PK, 1 Def (my emphasis added - MW)

Fitzpatrick, Ryan BUF QB - 7 14.07

Freeman, Josh TBB QB - 8 8.07

Romo, Tony DAL QB - 5 4.07

Grant, Ryan GBP RB - 8 5.06

Harper, Jamie TEN RB ® - 6 10.07

Hightower, Tim WAS RB - 5 7.06

Hillis, Peyton CLE RB (P) - 5 2.07

Lumpkin, Kregg TBB RB - 8 24.07

McGahee, Willis DEN RB - 6 9.06

Benn, Arrelious TBB WR (P) - 8 17.06

Bennett, Earl CHI WR - 8 15.06

Briscoe, Dezmon TBB WR - 8 16.07

Brown, Antonio PIT WR - 11 21.06

Collie, Austin IND WR (P) - 11 6.07

Johnson, Andre HOU WR - 11 1.06

Morgan, Josh SFO WR - 7 23.06

Williams, Mike SEA WR (P) - 6 11.06

Miller, Heath PIT TE - 11 12.07

Moore, Evan CLE TE (Q) - 5 19.06

Witten, Jason DAL TE - 5 3.06

Novak, Nick NYJ PK - 8 22.07

Suisham, Shaun PIT PK (Q) - 11 20.07

Falcons, Atlanta ATL Def - 8 13.06

Raiders, Oakland OAK Def - 8 18.07

I'll be first to admit I have a weak week 1 team, but I'd rather be lacking then than in week 5 ;)

Here is my team out of the 2 spot. Not very thrilled at all...

Garrard, David JAC QB (P) - 9 15.02

Newton, Cam CAR QB ® - 9 23.02

Stafford, Matthew DET QB (P) - 9 7.02

Waited a while on QB, and then waited ENTIRELY too long to take my 2nd and 3rd guys. Still, Garrard should be good for a good game or 2, and Stafford should be able to stay healthy for at least 5 weeks, right?

Foster, Arian HOU RB - 11 1.02

Gore, Frank SFO RB - 7 2.11

Hunter, Kendall SFO RB ® - 7 19.02

Scott, Bernard CIN RB (P) - 7 16.11

Starks, James GBP RB (P) - 8 10.11

Spent my #1 and #2 picks here, and was happy to get Foster and Gore. Starks should be able to fill in here and there as needed...the rest of the guys are just filler, although Hunter and Scott both looked impressive in their last preseason games.

Austin, Miles DAL WR - 5 3.02

Branch, Deion NEP WR - 7 13.02

Crabtree, Michael SFO WR (O) - 7 11.02

Little, Greg CLE WR ® - 5 14.11

Lloyd, Brandon DEN WR (P) - 6 4.11

Maclin, Jeremy PHI WR (Q) - 7 6.11

Smith, Steve CAR WR - 9 8.11

The Strength of my team, still I am mad that I did not realize that Miles Austin has a week 5 bye when I took him. There were other options available that early that did not have bye issues. Still, I have 5-6 guys I am confident in.

Davis, Vernon SFO TE - 7 5.02

Dickson, Ed BAL TE - 5 20.11

Kendricks, Lance STL TE ® - 5 12.11

I took Vernon early and then slacked off. Kendricks could be ok, but he is only a rookie.

Rackers, Neil HOU PK - 11 18.11

Scobee, Josh JAC PK - 9 24.11

Succop, Ryan KCC PK - 6 22.11

Rackers should be fine, and the other 2 may throw in a game here or there.

Cowboys, Dallas DAL Def - 5 17.02

Seahawks, Seattle SEA Def - 6 21.02

Steelers, Pittsburgh PIT Def

I took the Steelers EARLY, as I did not want to get hit on the wrong side of a DEF run picking close to the turn. Cowboys should be good for sacks, and Seahawks are always tough at home.

All in all, I just feel I am too weak at the QB position to stay long unless Stafford goes on a good streak to open the season. If Gore and Foster both stay healthy, I could compete, but will need some nice luck to survive.

First go round for one of these - not great but in with a chance given that I had zero time to prepare

As things evolved I decided to get 2 early TEs and wait on a QB. Largely managed to avoid week 5 byes altho don't feel I passed on any real strong guys to do so

Campbell, Jason OAK QB 8 14.03

Manning, Eli NYG QB 7 8.03

Underwhelming for sure but hopefully adequate over such a short stretch. Supposedly NYG early sched is good for passing but who knows.

Best, Jahvid DET RB 9 4.03

Harrison, Jerome DET RB 9 16.03

Mendenhall, Rashard PIT RB 11 1.10

Moreno, Knowshon DEN RB 6 5.10

Washington, Leon SEA RB 6 23.10

Woodhead, Danny NEP RB 7 12.03

I feel like this a pretty strong group with potential for some explosive weeks

Avery, Donnie STL WR 5 24.03

Burress, Plaxico NYJ WR 8 10.03

Driver, Donald GBP WR 8 15.10

Edwards, Braylon SFO WR 7 11.10

Hill, Jason JAC WR 9 17.10

Jackson, Vincent SDC WR 6 2.03

Meachem, Robert NOS WR 11 9.10

Thomas, Mike JAC WR 9 7.10

After VJAx and Thomas I loaded up WRs so expect it to be a committee approach throughout

Gates, Antonio SDC TE 6 3.10

Gronkowski, Rob NEP TE 7 6.03

Expect these guys to be regular best ball scorers at 1.5 PPR

Barth, Connor TBB PK 8 21.10

Hanson, Jason DET PK 9 20.03

Longwell, Ryan MIN PK 9 22.03

Crapshoot as always but a couple dome kickers cant hurt

49ers, San Francisco SFO Def 7 19.10

Chargers, San Diego SDC Def 6 13.10

Redskins, Washington WAS Def 5 18.03

Relying on SDC mostly with some help from the other 2 especially in week 2 when the Chargers face NEP

Good fun and hopefully first of many years of FBG survivors for me

I hate my team. Was forced to take Payton. Too many bye week 5 guys as I kept drafting value 2 rounds later than league 6 that I used as my base. Love my starting unit and my TE is particularly strong. Should have gone probably 3 PK and D instead of 2 each but loaded up on fringe RB hoping. I hate 2nd half of the draft for me.

Doubt I move on especially if Peyton misses week 5 where I have Bradford and McCoy as other QB. Great trio if Manning is healthy though.

Drew the 5th hole.

I think i did better than Wimmer so 11th place is MINE!!

QB

Orton, Kyle DEN QB - 6 11.05

Rodgers, Aaron GBP QB - 8 2.08

Was going to be one of those people who waited for QB, but at 2.08 I just could not pass up Rodgers.

DEN QB was top 5 last year, and Orton was as well for a good portion of the season. Like his upside for 5 weeks, might even outscore Rodgers once or twice.

RB

Bush, Michael OAK RB - 8 12.08

Choice, Tashard DAL RB - 5 24.08

Mathews, Ryan SDC RB (P) - 6 5.05

Rice, Ray BAL RB - 5 1.05

Sproles, Darren NOS RB - 11 13.05

Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB - 9 9.05

Took Rice at 1.5. Was hoping Charles fell to me.

I like the way Rice is looking this preseason, and he should get enough PPR's despite the rough 4 game schedule and week 5 BYE.

Mathews should be my RB2, hopefully Tolbert won't take away too much.

Stewart/Sproles/Bush/Choice

All are guys i figured could pop in a TD, or have one of those 12/109 kinda games.

Not loving the RB's I have, but I think I should be OK there.

WR

Jackson, DeSean PHI WR - 7 3.05

Massaquoi, Mohamed CLE WR (Q) - 5 22.08

Ochocinco, Chad NEP WR - 7 6.08

Rice, Sidney SEA WR (P) - 6 7.05

Shipley, Jordan CIN WR - 7 17.05

Simpson, Jerome CIN WR - 7 16.08

Sims-Walker, Mike STL WR (P) - 5 10.08

Feel good with my WR crew.

Desean was my 1st WR taken in the 3rd

I think Ocho will see a couple of good games early on, and SRice she see some bomb attempts in SEA

Sims-walker could post some nice games with Bradford throwing 76/game and Shipley I hope will be a safety valve for whoever is CINI QB.

TE

Clark, Dallas IND TE (P) - 11 4.08

Cooley, Chris WAS TE (Q) - 5 14.08

Miller, Zach SEA TE - 6 8.08

I like all 3 of these, and expect to use 2/week a couple of times with a 1.5PPR

Cooley was there VERY late, and he will miss week 5, and maybe a game early, but it looks like he could be playing through pain.

Bironas, Rob TEN PK - 6 20.08

Buehler, David DAL PK (O) - 5 23.05

Vinatieri, Adam IND PK - 11 19.05

Panthers, Carolina CAR Def - 9 18.08

Rams, St. Louis STL Def - 5 21.05

Vikings, Minnesota MIN Def - 9 15.0

Meh, crapshoots for me.

Just wanted quantity over quality at PK/D

Overall, I am happy, but think RB will hold me back

Drafted from the 3 spot. Don't have time to give a full writeup, but will come back and finish up later.

Vick, Michael PHI QB 7 3.03

McNabb, Donovan MIN QB 914.10

I was planning to wait on QB and try grab 2 WR's at the 2/3 picks, hoping a Jennings or Wallace would fall to me in the 3rd, but QB's slid and I didn't like the remaining RB/WR options compared to the upside Vick can bring, especially as a 3rd rounder (he went 1.6 and 1.11 in the other 1.5 TE ppr drafts). Grabbed McNabb as probably the 20th QB off the board.

Charles, Jamaal KCC RB 1.03

Greene, Shonn NYJ RB (P) 8 5.03

Lynch, Marshawn SEA RB (P) 6 6.10

Tolbert, Mike SDC RB 6 9.03

Jones, Thomas KCC RB 6 15.03

Decided on Charles (other option was McCoy - would love Rice here but with a wk5 bye forget it). Going WR/QB/WR put me behind a little bit at RB, but landing a starter in Greene in the 5th and Lynch in the 6th helped shore up the position. Really excited about landing Tolbert in the 9th. He has a decent chance to score as a flex for me, perhaps even RB2 numbers if he finds the endzone. Grabbed Jones as a handcuff late in case something happens to Charles, or if Jones comes in and gets 2 goalline TD's - might save me from getting too pissed. Overall, happy with this group.

Wallace, Mike PIT WR 11 2.10

Williams, Mike TBB WR 8 4.10

Jones, Julio ATL WR ® 8 7.03

Jones, James GBP WR 8 12.10

Breaston, Steve KCC WR 6 16.10

Jones, Jacoby HOU WR 11 18.10

Walter, Kevin HOU WR 11 19.03

Avant, Jason PHI WR (P) 7 24.10

Felt like Wallace was best available at my 2nd pick, and then a decent drop off so went with Vick in the 3rd. Glad to get Mike Williams in the 4th and maybe waited too long, but considering I got Julio Jones as my 3rd in the 7th I was content to roll the dice on him. The rest of the group needs some help...James Jones is an ideal best ball type of WR, and I grabbed the HOU duo of Walter/Jones hoping maybe one or two games they'll find the endzone. Grabbed Avant at the end thinking Maclin might be out the first week or two, but looks like he'll be back. I think the trio of Wallace/Williams/Jones should score for me each week, though some upside bench plays might pan out. Don't figure to get my flex from WR, but you never know.

Gonzalez, Tony ATL TE 8 8.10

Celek, Brent PHI TE 7 10.10

Gresham, Jermaine CIN TE 7 11.03

Waited way too long on TE, but everytime I went to draft it appeared like I would be chasing the tail of a TE run, so midcourse I decided to draft 3 TE's in the middle and bank on one of them getting something done each week. Gonzo will likely need to score a TD to be worthwhile...not a big fan. Celek is likely in the same boat, but talk is that he's going to be more involved. Gresham might be the best bet of the 3 as Dalton will probably have to look for him quite a bit in Cincy. Definitely the weakest part of my roster, so need the other parts to be difference makers.

Akers, David SFO PK 7 20.10

Carpenter, Dan MIA PK 5 22.10

Gould, Robbie CHI PK 8 21.03

Not the greatest trio, but Akers and Carpenter should see multiple FG chances on bad offenses and Gould is usually pretty reliable. Can't believe I was careful all draft to avoid wk5 bye issues and then I took Carpenter. Damnit!

Giants, New York NYG Def 7 13.03

Cardinals, Arizona ARI Def 6 17.03

Colts, Indianapolis IND Def 11 23.03

I think the Giants will be solid, and the Cards have a great matchup 4 of the 5 weeks. Took the Colts at the end as the 2nd to last D off the board, just to add a 3rd D to the mix.

All-in-all, I like my squad. We'll see how things play out.

Antonio Brown (3/93/1 receiving with 8 minutes left in first half Saturday vs. ATL preseason week 3) is looking like a pretty good pick at 21.06... :excited:

I'd post my draft thoughts, but I don't want to reveal too much to my opponents in round 2. Suffice it to say, my team is awesome, and if I get through week 1 I'll coast through the rest easily.

BostonFred goes huge with the Brady/Welker combo, but of course all points reset in our league each week. We say goodbye to JaxBill and *Censored*, who interestingly enough each picked on the turns (JaxBill at 12, Censored at 1).

He took the Brady/Welker combo to the house, and I finished 2nd with the Cam Newton / Steve Smith Expressway. :)

Now I just need my first round pick, Arian Foster to get some game time. Bad year to be picking top-3. Peterson, Foster, and Charles all did rather bad.

Interestingly enough, my rounds 18, 20, 22, 23, and 24 picks all scored for me. :)

Yeah, I'm out. Losing Charles obviously hurt, Vick not finishing things up Sunday Night, and Mike Williams no-show were a recipe for low score this week. Giants D almost had me through to next week, but the last TD they gave up dropped their score down below where I needed to be. Good luck to those moving on!
