Somebodies gotta do it, but hey, IF Obama can run a failing ship and have fun at the same time, why can't I step it on up and plunk around in a Land of Fantasy?

It's Monday and "It's Show Time.". I'll PM The Sig (on the clock at 10:00 AM EST, this date) to get this ball rollin' and add content as we go along:

1) The Modified Eight Hour "Wimp Out" Clock Rule in is effect (or not effective....depending on your view point).

2) Please PM the person that follows your pick.

3) Hawkeyes 1972 replaces Ruffrody's (#12 Slot): PM'd this date.

4) teamramrod agress to activate his (doesn't look like the rodder is a she) notification of PM by email function ("I thoght it started this weekend?") after checking it 7:32 PM on Tuesday to be greeted by his replacement's (The Ghost of Bill Walsh) pick at the 1.15 spot.

That's called the "Modified Wimp-Out Eight Hour Clock" rule."Ees not my deal, Mon. I just work here" also applies.

OK....you make the clock calls....working between On-Off, Weekends and Holiday's and Martin's B-Day..... and eight, four and two hour shifts. You can also make the call to replace guys that don't respond.

Once the drafter drafts, I'll spring into action and record the results.

There's a question which may need to be addressed pretty soon, before round 2 I believe. From the pinned WSL Rules thread:

this would suggest that everyone after pick #8 (Sigmund Bloom) has bumped up one notch, and teamramrod is currently assigned FUBAR's coveted pick #16. Should he not make it back to pick in that timeframe we would be finding a replacement...would taht be in the #9 slot or #16?

Put teamramrod in the 15th slot. When he's up he gets 4 hours to make his pick. If he hasn't replied we'll need a replacement. Someone can post a thread in the Shark Pool looking for a replacement at that time. The mods are usually pretty good about letting that slide for this message board based league. Some people may want to pm others that they know. Last resort would be to get some from one of the other leagues to double up.

Maybe I should advertise for "some body," preferrably a responsible party, to just kinda advertise for the replacement?

1.16 isn't at all where I planned to go, I expected him to be gone by this pick. In all honesty, he's not even a pick I really wanted, but the value is too good to pass on.

Moss is a guy I was hoping for.

 
Everyone--please check behind me on the links for pm's. I tried to set up the first round names so they connect--so it's easy to find the contacts and pm when someone's pick's up or for predrafting; that way we can keep this rolling.

I'm on snow watch tonight and have to decide just when the business opens tomorrow (if at all)--so I'm out of pocket for awhile.

Toads -- just FYI -- your tracking of the picks in Post 1 is off starting with the 2.03 pick -- should be Calvin Johnson, not Randy Moss.
