Per pms as posted in prior draft rounds 1 - 6 post.

7.01 Jeremy Shockey TE NO Steel Dillo

7.02 Eli Manning QB NYG Thom Yorke (yes, he confirmed doubling up on qbs)

pm to dpeease

dpeease picked 7.03 Heath Miller TE Pitt (posted in 6 - 12 topic)

7.04 Jamal Lewis RB Cle

Man, I don't know about this one, but he is the only RB of note on the team. He had an off year last year and alot of accumulated miles.

OK, things turned out ok but I made a mistake and wanted to apologize and man up. I thought dpeease had timed out from my pick at around 8:00 pm central and posted the picks for Thom Yorke and Steel Dillo. Luckily, dpeease in his omniscience, posted as I was posting to prevent me from tipping anyone's hand or duplicating a pick.

The sticky read to me as having an 8 hour clock but Reaper reminded me that the clock is turned off from 12 to 8 overnight. I had not even considered that since so many post overnight (my time).

So, my apologies to dpeease, and I guess a gentle reminder that the clock times out overnight.

edited to say clock turns off not times out

7.05 TE Dustin Keller, New York Jets

Everyone else left seems to have competition or other major question marks.

Well, I did cry in the last draft when I missed out - I do think post NFL Draft, there's a lot of questions answered and more RB's around later than this to rely on and I could wait but, since I haven't nabbed him yet in these things and since I do think he's in for a bigger year after outscoring this draft spot last year already, I'll do it:

7.06 Leon Washington RB NYJ

7.07 TE Visanthe Shiancoe, Minn

pm'n Old Mil

7.10 Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo pming EBF
hey Capwhat am I missing here? you seem to snag him early in almost everyone of these leagues. Lynch will probably have a week off or so but really after that he's a part timer.
sniffa - check the numbers from last year....then add in Lynch problems (I think you need to look at that more carefully); potential problems; and the offense being opened up; - all favorable for more production for FJax..........plus I like the guy and Buffalo Homer has two picks before my next one :goodposting:

I think Jackson will probably disappoint this year. No chance I'd be taking him this early.

Geez...MOP is taking so long the he'll probably be reaching 3-4 rounds with this pick.
LOL, I thought BassNBrew was just a real estate genius, he is funny too. Going to be really interesting to see the picks in four rounds. I will probably end up drafting someone I never heard of at some point.

Sorry guys, was hoping if I kept looking at the players long enough that some of the ones that were picked might suddenly become available...

7.12-Darren Sproles-RB San Diego

Honestly, I'm shocked he is still on the board, especially since he is going to be paid as a top5 at his position...I am as skeptical as you guys are about him, but I just cannot imagine him sitting on the sidelines all year collecting almost $7 million.

No, not really

I'll take:

7.16 QB Chad Pennington, MIA

8.01 RB Willis McGahee, BAL
Nice Aaron, like the McGahee pick, he could easily post 1,200 yds and 8 TDs which is an absolute steal right here. I am hearing very good things about the additions of Turner, making some very nice catches during the mini camps going on already. If we knew McGahee was healthy and the starter he would have been picked 4 rounds ago.

I got him at 8.12 in pdsl2 and felt the same way.

8.2 Kyle Orton, QB-DEN

There are better choices out there, but I've got to get some week 4 production at the QB spot when McNabb is off.

Mark Sanchez, QB NEW YORK JETS (my surprise pick of the draft)

pm'ing...
