I agree 100% with what you're saying.Some guppies around here act is if some of us fans have direct landlines to the team trainers. Chill!

Pro Career 2002 Stephen started all 12 games he played and was inactive for four contests because of injuries. He rushed for 820 yards and seven touchdowns on 207 carries and registered 23 receptions for 142 yards and one touchdown in the Redskins "Fun-N-Gun" offense. In the season opener versus Arizona (9/8), Stephen tallied 104 yards and a one-yard touchdown on 26 attempts and tied for team honors by equaling his career best of seven catches for 46 yards. He rushed 12 times for 53 yards and led the team with six receptions for 23 yards versus Philadelphia (9/16). Stephen produced 59 yards on 13 carries and led the Redskins in catches for the third straight game with four receptions for 26 yards at San Francisco (9/22). At Tennessee (10/6), Stephen gained 90 yards and scored from one yard out on 18 carries in addition to making a 14-yard touchdown catch. He accounted for 51 yards and a one-yard touchdown on 14 attempts and one reception for nine yards versus New Orleans (10/13) and totaled 91 yards on 24 carries at Green Bay (10/20). Stephen posted 80 yards on 16 attempts and two catches for 12 yards versus Indianapolis (10/27) prior to leaving the game in the second quarter with a right knee sprain that caused him to be inactive at Seattle (11/3) and at Jacksonville (11/10). He returned to the lineup at the New York Giants (11/17) and collected 59 yards on 19 carries. Stephen recorded 88 yards and tied his career high with three touchdowns on runs of one, three and five yards on 31 attempts versus St. Louis (11/24). On Thanksgiving Day at Dallas (11/28), Stephen rushed 20 times for 51 yards and had one reception for 11 yards. He carried 12 times for 70 yards and one touchdown to go along with one catch for one yard versus the New York Giants (12/8). At Philadelphia (12/15), Stephen notched 24 yards on two attempts before suffering a dislocated right shoulder that forced him to be inactive for the remainder of the season, versus Houston (12/22) and at Dallas (12/29).

College Career

Stephen ended his career at Auburn as the school's fourth all-time leading rusher with 2,811 yards, trailing Joe Cribbs, James Brooks and Bo Jackson. An All-SEC first-team selection as a senior (1995), he rushed for 1,068 yards and 14 touchdowns and tied Jackon's single-season record with 17 total touchdowns. As a junior (1994), Stephen led the Tigers with 1,263 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns on 221 carries to earn All-SEC honors and was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week after gaining a career-best 246 yards on 27 attempts with touchdown runs of one, 24 and 53 yards against Arkansas. He saw action in nine games as a sophomore (1993) and totaled 480 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 87 carries, including 125 yards and two touchdowns on 18 attempts in his first contest.

Stephen was chosen as the National Player of the Year by Football News and Offensive Player of the Year by USA Today as a senior at Spartanburg (SC) HS after gaining a school-record 2,448 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns to help lead the team to the Class 4A state title. Overall, he amassed 4,501 rushing yards on 535 carries with 53 touchdowns and 5,425 all-purpose yards. Also, Stephen won the state 100-meter dash title twice. A vocational education major, he helped build a Habitat for Humanity home in Washington, D.C. through the United Way's Hometown Huddle program in 1999. Stephen and his wife, Dee Dee, have a son, Stephen Jr., and three daughters, Dentia, Sherrell and Stephanie, and live in Columbia, SC.

Don't think I wasn't scrambling in the internet for his address after the TB game, hoping for Foster to get another shot at Washington. Sadly, didn't find his address in time.
