There's been no indication Sanders' Week 4 availability is in doubt. Sanders is a low-upside WR4 in the Broncos' scoring-challenged offense.

Emmanuel Sanders caught 5-of-9 targets for 104 scoreless yards in the Broncos' Week 4 loss to the Jaguars.

Sanders twisted up Tre Herndon for a big 39-yard catch to set up a touchdown in the first half and later came up with some clutch plays on the Broncos' final drive. He continues to look plenty capable of functioning at a high level despite being less than a year removed from tearing his Achilles. Keep an eye on this week's injury report, as Sanders did appear to suffer a lower-body injury on the offense's final drive before ultimately playing through the issue. Up next is a tough matchup against Casey Hayward and the Chargers, who have limited Sanders to 4-40-0, 4-68-0, 3-26-0 and 4-56-0 lines in their last four meetings.

Sanders was also limited last week, but he was eventually removed from the injury report and went for 104 yards against the Jaguars in Week 4. The veteran is probably just taking fewer reps to stay fresher for the entirety of the season. Sanders will be a risky Week 5 option with Chargers stud CB Casey Hayward on schedule.

Emmanuel Sanders (quad) plans to return to full practice on Thursday.

Sanders was limited by a quad injury Wednesday but he's already feeling better and expects to resume his usual workload on Thursday. The veteran has cleared 80 yards in three of his four games this year while no showing no lingering effects from last year's Achilles tear. Even with All-Pro Casey Hayward on tap in Week 5, Sanders still merits consideration as a back-end WR2 against the Chargers.

NFL.com's James Palmer reports there is "optimism" Emmanuel Sanders (knee) is active for Thursday's game against the Chiefs.

Sanders practiced again on Tuesday, an excellent sign he will be ready to go on the short week. Joe Flacco has been having trouble making multiple fantasy receivers relevant any given week — and it's usually been Courtland Sutton — but there should be room for the two of Sutton and Sanders against the Chiefs' shaky defense. The game's over/under is near 50.

Emmanuel Sanders caught 5-of-6 targets for 60 yards in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs.

Sanders was lucky to escape with the yardage he did, as Joe Flacco was so bad even FOX analyst Troy Aikman was calling for his benching. Speaking after the game, Sanders was asked what went wrong. "You know the answer," Sanders said. "You watched the same game." If you watched the game, you saw a completely immobile Flacco getting devoured by the Chiefs' previously stagnant pass rush. With 10 days between now and the Broncos' Week 8 trip to Indianapolis, it's possible contract-year Sanders has played his final game in Denver. The trade deadline is in 12 days.

49ers acquired WR Emmanuel Sanders from the Broncos in exchange for third- and fourth-round draft picks.

The Broncos are also sending a fifth-round pick the 49ers' way. Truly receiver desperate, the 49ers haven't been able to settle on a receiver rotation all season. Although it's a role 32-year-old Sanders is probably miscast for at this point in his career, they now have their No. 1. Still providing WR3 relevance in Denver despite Joe Flacco's unsurprising awfulness, Sanders will have a chance to push for WR2 value in San Francisco, though the 49ers' offense will remain run heavy to the extreme. 2019 is the final year of Sanders' contract.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said he expects Emmanuel Sanders to play in Week 8 against the Panthers.

Sanders has said the offense in San Francisco is one he's familiar with, and he didn't seem overly concerned about picking up the nuances of Shanahan's scheme. Other receivers, like Antonio Brown earlier this season, have played on short notice, but it's not a guarantee that he plays full snaps in Week 8. When he's fully intertwined in the offense, Sanders will be the No. 1 receiver and should see about 5-8 targets per game.

Welcome to the 49ers. Sanders arrived just nine days ago, but he appeared to have a telepathic connection with Jimmy Garoppolo in his second game in gold and red. One timing route, in particular, needed to be seen to be believed. Frequently schooling Patrick Peterson, Sanders also drew a DPI at the Cardinals' five-yard line. Looking spookily good for a 31-year-old who tore his Achilles' tendon last December, Sanders has already established himself as the 49ers' clear-cut No. 1 receiver. His 112 yards this evening were his most since last October. With 11 more days to get up to speed on the Niners' playbook, Sanders seems guaranteed to stay hot for Week 10 vs. the Seahawks.

Emmanuel Sanders exited Monday night's Week 10 game against the Seahawks with a ribs injury.

He will not return. Sanders exited midway through the first half. It's unclear when or how he was injured, but Sanders caught 2-of-4 targets for 24 yards before leaving. Dante Pettis, Marquise Goodwin, Kendrick Bourne, and Deebo Samuel are handling wideout duties in Sanders' absence.

Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) is day to day and expected to be a game-time decision for Sunday's contest with the Cardinals.

The word comes straight from coach Kyle Shanahan, who described Sanders' injury as a "rib cartilage" issue. Sanders was sorely missed in Monday evening's fiasco of a loss to the Seahawks. The 49ers don't have an NFL-caliber receiver corps without their trade deadline acquisition. If Sanders can get cleared, he will be facing a Cardinals defense he ripped for 7/112/1 in Week 9.

As was George Kittle (knee) and Matt Breida (ankle). Trending towards a true game-time call against the Cardinals, Sanders' pending absence would simultaneously tank San Francisco's offense all the while putting rookie Deebo Samuel in a great position to follow-up on his 8/112 from Monday night. Fantasy players should look elsewhere instead of taking Sanders' official status to kick-off.

Emmanuel Sanders was on the field for the walkthrough portion of practice. He did go back to the weight room, where the 49ers players who don’t practice rehab, once the actual practice began. It’s worth noting that Kyle Shanahan said Sanders doesn’t need to practice in full to play Sunday.

Emmanuel Sanders (questionable, ribs) said he’s "going to try to play" in Week 11 against the Cardinals.

Sanders didn't get in any practice time, but the 49ers left the door open on him playing by listing him as questionable. This is more of a pain-tolerance issue for Sanders, so it's possible he makes enough progress this weekend to suit up. With George Kittle (knee) doubtful, Deebo Samuel should see his highest target share of the season if Sanders sits.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Emmanuel Sanders (questionable, ribs) will play Week 11 against the Cardinals.

Sanders didn't log a single practice rep this week, but he's prepared to gut it out for Sunday's divisional matchup with Arizona. The risk of re-injury and potential matchup with All-Pro Patrick Peterson are both deterrents, though Sanders was excellent when these teams squared off in Phoenix two weeks ago, producing seven grabs for 112 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. It's unclear if Sanders will see a full complement of snaps coming off last week's rib injury. If the Niners limit him at all, Deebo Samuel would stand to benefit.

Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) is questionable for the 49ers' Week 12 matchup against the Packers.

Sanders is tentatively expected to play through his questionable tag. Still, Sanders posted a pedestrian 47% snap rate in Week 11 and doesn't appear to be operating at anything close to 100%. Jaire Alexander shadowed and shut down Sanders (2-10-0) back in Week 3 when the Packers played the Broncos. Treat him as a boom-or-bust WR4 in this tough spot.

Sanders was essentially a decoy for the second straight week. He played 70 percent of snaps but wasn’t needed in a blowout win. Sanders looks healthy but has taken a backseat to Deebo Samuel and George Kittle. He should be avoided for a matchup with the Ravens in Week 13, where he'll be a low-floor WR3.

Emmanuel Sanders caught 4-of-6 targets for 41 yards in the 49ers' Week 13 loss to the Ravens.

The yards were Sanders' most since he first injured his ribs in Week 10. Sanders had the looks of a WR2 following his 7/112/1 outburst in Week 9, but fantasy owners have had to settle for WR4 as he's battled injury and conservative game plans. Greater passing volume should be needed for next week's New Orleans road trip.

Emmanuel Sanders caught 7-of-9 targets for 157 yards and one touchdown in the 49ers' Week 14 win over the Saints, adding a 35-yard passing touchdown.

Sanders had a couple chunk plays early in this one before then catching a 75-yard touchdown on what was terrible coverage by DB Marcus Williams. Sanders caught the downfield lob, fell down, and still had enough time to get back up and run it into the end zone. He also tossed a touchdown to Raheem Mostert on a trick play the Saints nearly blew up in the backfield. It was a huge rebound game for Sanders after he'd been held to 41 scoreless yards or fewer in four straight games. Sanders will be a WR2 next week at home against the Falcons.
