Don’t agree.  People are frustrated and somehow Trump convinced them he cared and would improve their lives.
I don’t think those two things are either/or. Those are two groups that are part of the Trump Coalition and they’re both emotional attachments, which is why they’re so strong.

Way more of these folks than we’d like to believe.  They truly worship Trump and see him as the last crusader for a European centric US.
Do you worry about these people? They won't do anything except watch Fox news, listen talk radio and whine about "socialism".

I believe that citizens who disagree with me have a right to vote. Even if they want to suppress that right for people that don't  agree with them.
Sure.

It was not really included in your "Do you worry about these people?" post though. Because I suppose it could be "concerning" or even "worrisome" if "these people" as you so eloquently put it, decided things to the detriment of the rest of the population

(Oh, snap, they already did in 2016)

Seriously low energy. Sad. Lying is okay if it pisses off libs. What a freakin joke. No wonder our allies laugh at us. This country deserves everything coming down the pike towards us.
Speaking of our allies:

Jake Tapper‏ @jaketapper 14h14 hours ago

.@SecPompeo tells Fox: “the Europeans haven’t been as helpful as I wish that they could be. The Brits, the French, the Germans all need to understand that what we did, what the Americans did, saved lives in Europe as well.”

Indeed. Who could have predicted that three years of constant attacks on European allies would have consequences...

I thought isolationism was the goal? Now they're surprised that our allies aren't rushing to our side?

Isolationism has consequences.

Mind bottling, really. Pours salt in the womb, that the Europeans won't help out

Didn't know that the crusader cross was an alt-R symbol now though.
I'm fairly sure the New Zealand right winger that shot up the mosques had a bunch of crusade crosses and things painted on his guns and magazines. It's definitely a thing among the Internet focused alt-right/extremists. They also love memes involving crusader knights and throw around "deus vult" a lot.  I'm sure they all think it is terribly funny.

Anatomy of a Trump rally: 67 percent of claims are false or lacking evidence. Does he do it on purpose or can he simply not remember facts? Do you think he could turn it off if he wanted to?
It's why he loves holding rallies. There is no one to question anything he says. The more outrageous, the louder the applause. They even clap at things they know are a lie. The same reason, but on the opposite end, that he stopped doing White House pressers. They were filled with knowledgeable people who demanded the truth and wouldn't tolerate being lied to. So he (via his press secretary) stopped doing them altogether.

Bloomberg Takes On Trump With a $10 Million Super Bowl Ad

By Nick Corasaniti

Jan. 7, 2020Updated 2:02 p.m. ET

Michael R. Bloomberg’s presidential campaign has secured a 60-second advertising slot to air nationally during this year’s Super Bowl telecast, an ad buy that will most likely cost at least $10 million.

Bloomberg campaign officials confirmed the buy on Tuesday and said they would be paying “market rate,” though they would not specify the cost of the ad. But executives at Fox, which is broadcasting the game on Feb. 2, have said they were seeking “north of $5 million” per 30-second ad.

The Bloomberg campaign said its Super Bowl ad would be a new spot that has not yet aired.

“The biggest point is getting under Trump’s skin,” said Michael Frazier, a spokesman for the Bloomberg campaign. By “taking the fight to Trump,” Mr. Frazier said, “the ad is part of Mike’s strategy of running a national campaign that focuses on states where the general election will be decided, parts of the country that are often overlooked.”

Mr. Bloomberg’s campaign has continued to set records for political ad spending by a presidential candidate, having already dropped nearly $170 million on television and digital advertising, according to Advertising Analytics, an ad tracking firm. Mr. Bloomberg, a billionaire media owner and former mayor of New York, is funding his campaign with his own money and is not soliciting donations.

“We have the means to raise a national campaign unlike any other candidate,” Mr. Frazier said.

Mr. Bloomberg has made targeting Mr. Trump a core element of his ad strategy. Before he announced his candidacy, he pledged to spend $100 million on ads criticizing the president. And since he launched his bid, his campaign has unloaded a barrage of Facebook attack ads in general-election swing states, seeking to erode support for Mr. Trump by highlighting what Mr. Bloomberg calls broken promises on infrastructure, health care and dysfunction in Washington.

The Super Bowl ad is a show of financial force rarely seen in presidential politics. Though some campaigns have made local advertising buys during past Super Bowls, a national buy has often been out of reach, given the expense. It is also usually viewed as wasteful to pay to reach a 50-state audience rather than buying ads in the swing states where campaigns would prefer to target their message.

But Mr. Bloomberg is running an unconventional primary campaign with a heavy national emphasis, choosing to avoid the four states that vote first in February and instead focusing his efforts on Super Tuesday on March 3, when 14 states will vote.

“It’s actually smart for Bloomberg,” said Ken Goldstein, a professor of politics at the University of San Francisco. “Bloomberg is running a national campaign, and the most efficient way to reach a lot of people in a national campaign is buying an ad in a top-rated show. And as expensive as it is, it’s cheaper than buying the ads market by market.”

The Bloomberg campaign has rapidly expanded its payroll to 800 staff members over the past month, with 500 organizers on the ground across the 14 Super Tuesday states. The expansion, first reported by NBC News, gives Mr. Bloomberg another leg up on his Democratic rivals; former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s campaign, for example, has roughly 400 staff members on its national payroll.
I would have thought this was funny were we not on the doorstep of WWIII.

Not a Bloomberg fan but have a little money on him winning.
I'm not a fan of him, either, but no shame in the game. Honestly, I'm just sick of the way things happen now. No rhyme or reason, no good explanation, and it usually makes bad things worse. Something needs to change.

This is the scenario that has always been most scary with Trump - What the hell will this dude do in this situation. Everyone knows it and except for the most avid MAGA Koolaid drinker is nervous/scared tonight.

Please let this dude not completely #### the bed here.
