Just flat-out dismantling the EPA.

It honestly is probably the most dangerous part of this whole thing.

And this where the media should always less him with how things were rising under Obama on the same level as the gains now and he claimed it was so bad...

He is so stupid as the market is primed for a major correction during his term and him taking responsibility for this is setting him up for the other side of the coin.

Any downturn will be blamed on...

the democrats for obstructing his policies

the investigation into fake news Russia

Obama

or Hillary

Of course, Trump has never taken blame or responsibility for any failures

I think that's what he admits to, but it's more like 6 or 7.  He just lumps similar casino bankruptcies together.

Slouching Toward War With North Korea.

Scary.

Quote

John Brennan, the former head of the C.I.A., estimates the chance of a war with North Korea at 20 to 25 percent.

Joel S. Wit, a Korea expert at Johns Hopkins University, puts it at 40 percent.

Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, says the odds may be somewhere around 50/50.

...

The Congressional Research Service last month estimated that as many as 300,000 people could die in the first few days of war — and that’s if it remains nonnuclear. If there is a nuclear exchange, “there easily could be a million deaths on the first day,” says Scott Sagan, an international security expert at Stanford.

Sagan says the odds of war “are certainly greater than is widely recognized by the American public.”

...

Security experts overwhelmingly say the least terrible choice is the deal for a freeze on North Korean testing in exchange for reductions in sanctions or U.S.-South Korean military exercises, but at this point it’s not clear that either Washington or Pyongyang would agree to such an arrangement. Deterrence is next best, and war is the worst option. But that’s the option Trump seems headed toward.

The downturn will be blamed on a lack of tax cuts. Tax cuts are the answer to everything.

Offshore Trove Exposes Trump-Russia Links And Piggy Banks Of The Wealthiest 1 Percent https://www.icij.org/investigations/paradise-papers/paradise-papers-exposes-donald-trump-russia-links-and-piggy-banks-of-the-wealthiest-1-percent/

There's gonna be a lot of dirty laundry coming out of this, similar to the Panama Papers. One nugget is this:

Quote

One offshore web leads to Trump’s commerce secretary, private equity tycoon Wilbur Ross, who has a stake in a shipping company that has received more than $68 million in revenue since 2014 from a Russian energy company co-owned by the son-in-law of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In all, the offshore ties of more than a dozen Trump advisers, Cabinet members and major donors appear in the leaked data.

I remember Maddow trumpeting this months ago but now it looks like there's some meat on the bones.

Reading a little about Navigator Holdings, the company doesn't seem out of the ordinary. It operates 33 vessels and frankly receiving 68 mill over three years from Russian energy companies when energy companies pretty much are your only customers for your vessels (who else moves LPG?) is completely within the boundaries of day to day biz.

What the problem is here is that Ross didn't divest his stake with all the other stuff he divested - probably because he thought it was hidden sufficiently well...

Oh, another little tidbit I did not see at first. Another shareholder in Navigator Holding is one of the oligarchs already on the sanction list (Leonid Mikhelson). Although "doing business with" and "owning shares in the same company" are not necessarily synonymous
