They said police couldn't provide adequate protection for show.
Not a joke, nor kidding.
Not a joke, nor kidding.
I wish. But it seems significant in light of the Michael Brown police protests. Are you kidding?
No, that's a statement for a different time and a different day. U2 specifically cited police action as a reason to cancel. That deserves comment.U2 sucks!!!!
Did somebody post it on twitter? If so, I will follow.I heard this elsewhere and now I'm hearing it from you too. It must be true.
The fake news coming across the wire is getting out of control.Fake news?
Or did this really happen?
And will continue to, with or without you.People still see this band?
Yes. They are selling out football stadiums.People still see this band?

Stuck in a moment, can't get out of it.He must not have found what he was looking for.
Can't read that without hearing cartoon Bono voice from the Simpsons, narrating. We have been informed by the St. Louis Police Department that they are not in a position to provide the standard protection for our audience as would be expected for an event of this size," the band said in a joint statement with tour promoter Live Nation published on U2's website.
"We have also been informed that local crowd security personnel would not be at full capacity," they explained. "In light of this information, we cannot in good conscience risk our fans’ safety by proceeding with tonight’s concert. As much as we regret having to cancel, we feel it is the only acceptable course of action in the current environment."

Probably because the streets have no names. He must not have found what he was looking for.
Sort of. The show tonight is cancelled. But not because of civil unrest related to the Stockley verdict. When the band announced they needed a break from the tour setlist and chose STL to honor the 20th Anniversary of their studio album "Pop" and would play that album in its entirety instead of "The Joshua Tree", fans revolted and demanded refunds. This is a joke, right?
It's all good. With satellite television you can go anywhere: Miami, New Orleans, London, Belfast, Berlin...Probably because the streets have no names.
Not sure yet. The only link thus far has been to The Onion so this could all be just parody.Seriously though?
