It's sort of funny to look back, but once upon a time I used to write up a short piece on my own website for "rookie fantasy prospects".
I know I have one from 2001 somewhere but here is 2002. Apparently, I used to think Josh McCown was the next superstar.
Jarrett is probably the best of the bunch; he's the most complete in terms of athletic ability and - by the way - great size (6'5"). Johnson is a big target but he appears a bit slow to me (when trying to see him in the NFL).
Everyone knows about Ginn and I think he could be a top three pick...
Yes! A good friend of mine and I often argue about who should is "responsible" when this, that and the other goes wrong with NFL teams, but we both strongly agree that the strength and conditioning coach should get some flak when rashes of muscle injuries like pulls, strains and tears occur...
Wow! What luck for me.
Up by 17 points going into MNF with my opponent having Chris Brown. If I win, I'm in my league's playoffs; a loss or tie marks the end of my season.
Brown scores 16 by halftime and then doesn't return.
He also mentioned that he hadn't received any calls yet, which I find odd because it's SOP for NFL teams to call players that they are about to pick. That being said, there is no chance Rivers plays for NYG and that a trade is 100% certain.
