My take always from tonight’s game.

Zardes is our best #9, now the question is he best starting or combining in off the  bench.

Sands isn’t ready yet, if we play Mexico they are going to exploit him.

More abuse of Zardes than me.  Sarge...Sarge...Sarge...Dike....Dike...Dike...some random guy in a lower division European team...etc.  Guy scores a couple of lucky goals being in the right place instead of being in the middle of nowhere acting like a statue picking his nose.  The last two games we aren't sniffing goals and once Zardes appears we are winning within minutes.  Everyone claims his touch is horrible yet I'd be hard pressed to find a miscue this tourney.

The other thing people are overlooking is the press we'll be able to implement with him, Politic, and Gio.

He is what he is...I think everybody in here has been pretty consistent with appreciating his game- even if it's fun to make fun of his touch. Feels like everybody wanted to go with Dike after Sarge didn't show anything, because Zardes is what he is- a known commodity and the GC should be used (given the roster) to see what we have. Dike showed bupkis, so of course let's go with Zardes.

After Chuckie got hurt in the first game in the first half, Efrain Alvarez subbed in for him.  Since that first game, I believe Efrain has only played 6 minutes total for Tata.

Brad Friedel, arguably the best US goalkeeper ever, was a total and complete disaster as a head coach of my Revs.  He did however give Turner his chance when no one had ever heard of the kid and even predicted he could be national team quality way back in 2018
