the last few times I've seen France play (before the tournament), they seem like a group of individuals who can crank things up when they want, but aren't going to beat teams with overall shape or tactics.

Mbappe was quite terrible today.  You can see why he's so highly thought of in the world of soccer, but his finishing today(and this entire tourney) is downright awful.

France wasn't going to win this tournament with that second half defense anyway.
