He's all grown up from when he first touched a bewb a few short years ago.Pickford with a fine impression of Ederson on crack.
StillPickford might get to touch his first boob tonight.
 Right??
I’ll have what you’re having.I know it’s just silly season rumors, but if Spurs can get Kane this summer. They might win the World Cup.
Either way it's David v Goliath in the final. Italy or Spain, with 14 combined major tournament finals, vs Denmark or England with one each.Right??
i still laugh in their general direction.
come on Denmark!
Don't think I've touched a boob since making that joke. :karma:Still![]()
I have not seen the odds yet, but I assume England are favored to win, mostly on the easier SF draw, and playing both games in London.
I agree with the order but think Denmark should be a little better. They are ranked 10th in the world and are a really good side.as of this morning, my book sets it as:
England +150
Italy +220
Spain +250
Denmark +900
all well and good, but in the purely betting ecosystem of this final four, they're handled properly on the odds line, imo ... having to beat England at Wembley, then the Italy/Spain survivor - Herculian task, and the +900 is a move by the book to entice action on them ... plenty of punters will toss the odd 10 or 20 spot their way, and i'm sure there'll be quite a few more adventerous plunkers wagering even heavier.I agree with the order but think Denmark should be a little better. Now you know how we feel when you post in the NBA thread.Deamon said:Dude, 22 consecutive posts. What the actual ####. I'm cheering for Italy too but I'm quite sad that you found this thread.
Kind of like you in the politics thread, amirite? Now you know how we feel when you post in the NBA thread.
If someone bugs you that much, put them on ignore. No need to be a Richard about it.Kind of like you in the politics thread, amirite?
Yeah, I'm right.
We all have our bad moments. Leave well enough alone, eh?
I know. I read it. That was my reply. All of us are geesed and gandered. No need for ignore on my end. I'm a big boy when it comes to people disagreeing with me or whose posts I don't like.If someone bugs you that much, put them on ignore. No need to be a Richard about it.
Referring to the OP from Deamon fwiw.
I do not make anywhere near 22 posts in a row coach. But keep trolling. Now you know how we feel when you post in the NBA thread.
My book currently has Italy as the faves. It's gotta be pretty close though. If England and Italy get through than I'm assuming Italy would be favoured, but England has a much easier path to the title.as of this morning, my book sets it as:

from a betting perspective, the poitive factors with the English side dictate favoritism at this point ... setting Italy as the favorites, pre-semis, is a leap - they are favored to get through to the final, and have been the talk of tourney ... until England started gaining steam. My book currently has Italy as the faves.   Ya my odds updated with England now the faves. I do think a lot of it has to do with the road to the final like you say.from a betting perspective, the poitive factors with the English side dictate favoritism at this point ... setting Italy as the favorites, pre-semis, is a leap - they are favored to get through to the final, and have been the talk of tourney ... until England started gaining steam.
at this point they (Italy) are the better value, but, still ... they have their hands full with Spain first, and will be without Spinazzola - now, i think they are a resilient enough side to still back seriously, and i am rooting for them (Cugini here), but England deserves top odds.
me? i'll take the plunge on 'em - better to grab 'em now then at +140ish in a potential final match vs England.
btw, for those not familiar with the money lines, it breaks down as such, in the "American" odds ...
England +150 = 5/2
Italy +220 = 3/1
Spain +250 = 7/2
Denmark +900 = 10/1

Obviously a lot depends how both teams look in the semi's, but if both get through, I'd imagine it to be almost a dead even betting odds in the final.
The group stage is seeded. Knockout opponents are determined by group stage results, so there is some luck involved perhaps, depending on how the groups shake out, but no need to re-seed the tournament. For me, this is the same as the NCAA bracket. Some years, due to upsets or injuries, a team makes the sweet 16 and it looks like they have an easy path to the final 4, but that doesn't mean they should re-seed the whole tournament after 2 rounds.Rant from someone who only really enjoys the international level of competition. Why don’t they seed the knockout rounds better? England’s path to the Final is an absolute joke compared to teams like Belgium or Italy. And they only had to play one game outside of England the whole time? Is this level of competition as corrupt as FIFA?
Again, shenanigans! The group stage is seeded. England were fortunate to play the group stage games in London. Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark and Spain also played all 3 group stage games at home. London was chosen to host this year's semifinals and final back in 2014. Sure, England benefit from being awarded these games, just as France played all its games at home in the 2016 Euro and Germany will host the 2024 Euro. There's no question UEFA is corrupt, but I don't see how this circumstance is evidence of that.
The problem is that FIFA rankings are typically a lagging indicator not a leading one.The seeding in the knockouts of Euro 2020 is way worse than any NCAA tournament. There’s no way so many of the top 5 ranked teams should have met so early in the knockout rounds.
Unless of course you want to tell me UEFA profited ~$37 by introducing covid into the world and then I would say you have a 50-50 chance of being right. As mentioned above, UEFA's corruption is legendary in the sporting world but that corruption had nothing to with what is transpiring now.
You are overthinking this. If Spain had won their group and Germany didn’t crap the bed in qualifying the round of 16 and quarterfinals look different. Also, that red card against Netherlands just sucked - not saying it wasn’t deserved but they would have won IMO if there’s no red.The seeding in the knockouts of Euro 2020 is way worse than any NCAA tournament. I’m not sure what to make of this game. Spain scoring a ton of goals but not looking like world beaters doing it. Italy has been the best side in the tournament so far but this one could go either way. Gun to head I’d take Italy but Spain winning wouldn’t surprise me at all. Just hoping for an entertaining match.
Looking forward to this one. I don't think either side will feel like they are favored.I’m not sure what to make of this game. I agree with all this except it being dull. I think Italy comes out really aggressive and tries to get an early lead. If they do, then I think they will hunker down more than they have up to now.Looking forward to this one. I don't think either side will feel like they are favored.
Italy has been on the top of their game since G1, but they will miss Spinazzola, and could be susceptible to pacy play from Spain against the aging CBs. Spain, have a good team, on paper, but the finishing has been a bit suspect.
I think this will be a relatively dull affair - with both teams being a bit more conservative than they have in previous games.. I like Italy with a late winner, but, like you, would not be surprised to see Spain pull off the win.
Spain winning would surprise the ever living ###### out of me.Spain winning wouldn’t surprise me at all.
