Maybe Big Sam can comeback in April/May & save their season yet again, after he gets the sack from England.Moyes out!
Sunderland carved apart for second goal vs the championship side.
Gooch ok... but doesnt quite seem at this level. Tbh, most of sunderland dont.
It's all jokes until they knight Sir Big Sam, OBE in 2019.Maybe Big Sam can comeback in April/May & save their season yet again, after he gets the sack from England.
agree.Fun second half. Poor Guzan is working his ### off.
Gooch has a great motor, but doesn't seem like he's got the skills to take many guys on 1v1.
Stunned that Hull City have 6 points already - tbh was afraid that would be the total after 38 games.Kafka said:
I feel like this is my fault.Atleti gave up a 95th minute equalizer. Not an awesome start to the season. I'm not sure why Gaitán didn't start. They shouldn't need both Gabi and Tiago in there against a newly promoted side, especially at home.
And thats my problem with the Fro in there. He has played fine and done whats asked but there are people that offer that same play plus more that should be in there. Schneiderlin can offer all that Fellaini can, plus adds better speed/defense/passing and less fouls. Their defense has been a bit shaky but their speed allows for a lot of ability to recover. I am not sure if Smalling will improve this over Blind but I think so. Hull then the international break then City.I personally thought ManU looked very shaky on defense and gave up loads of space to Southampton.
Its early days, but Fellaini and Pogba in the middle isnt all that great from a defensive standpoint. Once they play a team with a shred of offensive ability it will be interesting.
But you honestly couldn't have asked for a better opening script for ManU. Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull City may end up being 3 of the bottom 5 offenses this year, then ManU gets 2 weeks before their first real test against Man City.

Although I have to admit, if you are lining up a shot on a free kick and you see a wall of 6'2 Bailley, 6'4 Fellaini, 6'3 Zlatan, 6'4 Smalling you will think twice about trying to go up and over. And eta 6'3 Pogba can be in the wall too....
... Untied fans haven't watched their team in a few seasons. give them a chance to catch back upbut... the game was Friday......
honestly... I have no idea where we're supposed to post anything anymore.Sorry, was posting during the game Friday but not the rest of the weekend, so I was responding. Thanks though.
I believe you are allowed to post what a dumpster fire Liverpool is in any thread, soccer or not.honestly... I have no idea where we're supposed to post anything anymore.
you're talking about the game, so maybe it goes here? and the soccer thread is more about general stuff and non-specific-game related things? eg: like what a dumpster fire liverpool is.

The "idea" behind the thread...Is liverpool or Roma the dumpster fire in that thread?
Ok, Gator...I'm officially on your side now.Is liverpool or Roma the dumpster fire in that thread?
keep it in the serie b thread please.Porto @ Roma today, in the 2nd leg of the UCL play-in tie. Immense implications for Roma, as 30 mil € are at stake. A Roma loss would probably equate to losing Manolas and/or Nainggolan next summer...
Leganes win their first ever La Liga game; 1-0 @ Celta Vigo...the subsequent celebrations were pretty sweet to see.
own goals still count as away goals, right?Porto @ Roma today, in the 2nd leg of the UCL play-in tie. Immense implications for Roma, as 30 mil € are at stake. A Roma loss would probably equate to losing Manolas and/or Nainggolan next summer...

Re: P.S.- I hope so, am just wary that Roma play for a 0-0 tie at home. They did so against ManCity last yr, & paid for it. The big difference this year is that Spaletti is on the bench, & not Garcia...own goals still count as away goals, right?![]()
P.S. Roma is going to whoop 'em at home.
I laugh because I care...Sinn, tread carefully
If that squad can have 81% possession against Burnley, I fully expect 95.6% possession against powerhouse Burton Albion.Klopp not messing around today
@JamesPearceEcho: Liverpool line up tonight: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Can, Lallana, Firmino, Mane, Origi. #LFC
