Bournemouth ease past Crystal Palace 11-10 on Pens...

ETA: all 10 position players made their kicks, then Palace keeper saved the shot from Bournemouth keeper, and then proceeded to put his own shot over the goal - before the shootout ended with the 12th round

Ryan Frasier scores In the Carraboo Cup and his debut. Magpies go past the Rovers 1-0. In the first 2 matches goals have been a contribution of most of the key signings

Still can't get Peacock sideloaded app on FireStick to play live sports. Casting to my Roku is wonky. Waiting on Chromecast delivery.

Sarge starting for WB vs Hertha Berlin.

1st game and all, but 10 minutes in, this is like watching MLS preseason so far in terms of what's getting played.

But there are fans in the stands! So great to see and hear. Looks like 25% and socially distant spread. Why not?

He looked bright the few times he attacked...nice shot that forced a good save for a corner.

But just now tracking back defensively, completely switched off his brain and allowed his mark to easily move behind him for the opening tap in goal off a cross.

WB down 0-2 at the half.

Still disjointed moving the ball forward, which will continue to work against Sarge's strengths. But Chong (is this the Man U Chong?) And Osaka look better than what they had last season...just a #10 who was quality, but didn't look to combine...so maybe they'll figure a way to attack and involve Sarge.

Arsenal CBs showing how to mark. Let the one forward run untouched and without either of the CBs near him from the center stripe all the way to the 6 between both CBs...other than letting him score the goal, what could go wrong with such professional coverage?

That's what you get with Sideshow Bob on the mend.

Making a sub already. Maybe Fraser can get them under control. Totally reckless and the whole team is a red card waiting to happen.

I saw Newcastle and Brighton at St. James Park last season, incidentally. 0-0 draw. Horrible game but awesome experience.
Sub was due to injury. ASM turned his ankle.

Really not a fan of the assistant officials keeping the flags down on "obvious" offsides.

If you aren't sure - then keep the flag down, but when you see an off-side call it.

One of my goals if I end up in the UK is to go there for a game. Same when we take my dad to Italy. Trip to Milan to for a Milan match maybe the Derby too.

Kepa's not a keeper. :kicksrock:
Can't believe they thought they could straight swap him for GIGI Donnarumma. I want whatever they are smoking. If they could afford what they paid for Kepa then GIGI who should be 3xs the amount. Can anyone think of a worse economical move involving a keeper in recent yrs?

Is this ref crazy? Thats a Red card to Ouioto!!! Dude literally with intent gave a forearm.

VAR gets it right though. MTL gets it's 3 straight game of someone heading to an early shower.

Bmav bat-signal
He was absolutely attrocious in that game.  Every pass was to a Palace player.  Rightfully yanked for VdB.

McTominay is not a true holding MF.  He wants to get forward to often and is more a box to box type.  He, VdB, Bruno and Pogba are your attacking mfs.

Matic and Fred are your holding.

So glad ManU started a week after Spurs.

Welcome Bale and Reguilon after we looked like ####. ManU, who you gonna get now?
Reguilon is the one I'm disappointed in not getting.  Didn't want Bale (age, inj history, wages...).  Sounds like a move for Telles may be coming (which means next window or two if ever).

Still need Sancho, CDM and a CB.

As for the game, no one looked good.  Lindelof was the only player worse then Pogba.  Shaw doesn't track back fast enough and get goalside to stop the first goal.  Thats often a problem with Shaw.  Looked like De Gea slide to far over and with better movement may have saved it.  Lindelof handball then gets easily beaten by Zaha for the 3rd.

VDB with a nice debut.  For those asking why he didn't start? He is the depth behind Pogba and Bruno.  I didn't expect him to start and I don't expect to see they 3 in the same MF unless you go 3 in the back.  Matic or Fred need to be in behind whichever two are playing.

I do have a few questions on that PK sequence.
1) Why would that not be considered ball to hand?
2) Did they change the rules again and you have to be touching the line as a GK? i thought you just had to be over the line which De Gea was.
3) Why are you allowed to change PK takers on a retake like that?
