Meant to say Montreal.Atlanta is in 5th. The run-in will be insane though. 5 teams within 2 points of each other. Two of those teams will most likely miss out.

That is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Make sure you watch with the music.
I have no idea what caused the blonde dude to overcommit so terribly. Great feet from Mo, but just keep your position, dude. That is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Make sure you watch with the music.
Wow.
watch it again.I have no idea what caused the blonde dude to overcommit so terribly. Great feet from Mo, but just keep your position, dude.
Not to mention, in real time, it wasn't nearly as egregious. Plus, he's in the box and with that many defenders around, no one is risking giving up a penalty.watch it again.
this time be aware that there's a guy with a red shirt on doing filthy things with the ball.
I get that. But for everything Mo did, that guy had to affirmatively dive in and take himself out of the play contra-goal wise to open up some of that space. You have to be patient in that situation.watch it again.

None. No excuses. That was so bad.I’m excited to hear what the new excuses for Ole will be.
Glad I can help.oh totally. this thread moves a mile a minute... don't won't to miss any Liverpool info or Manchester United 3 days later chat.
I think this is a euphemismI assumed Arsenal v. CP would be on NBCSN today since it is the only game being played. I assumed wrong.
Peacock can suck my Peacock.
YESRules question.
So, I know there's no offside in your own half. However, if you are over the halfway line in an offside position when a ball is played (say from the GK), and you come back over the halfway line to receive it, are you still offside?
Yes, its based on when the ball is played forwardRules question.

No offside on any goal kick (or throw in). But it has to go directly the player that is "offside", obviously.didn't know this.
I recently learned that you can not be off on a corner kick either. No offside on any goal kick (or throw in). But it has to go directly the player that is "offside", obviously.
I learned this one a few years ago.... Don't know the reasoning and didn't seem necessary but ok.didn't know this.
Well, that's because it's considered the touchline that the ball is coming from so everyone is in an onside position.I recently learned that you can not be off on a corner kick either.
This one is just an extension of a more general rule: you're not offside if you're behind the ball. And when the ball is on the touch line everyone is behind it.I recently learned that you can not be off on a corner kick either.
knew the throw in... and now that I think about it- I knew about the goal kicks too, but like with so many things lately didn't remember. I remember when playing, pushing as high up the field as possible to draw the defender deeper into their own half to cover me.No offside on any goal kick (or throw in). But it has to go directly the player that is "offside", obviously.

Sure, but you guys do realize you physically can be in an offside position on a corner right? This one is just an extension of a more general rule: you're not offside if you're behind the ball. And when the ball is on the touch line everyone is behind it.
This makes sense for why they would make it not offside.Well, that's because it's considered the touchline that the ball is coming from so everyone is in an onside position.
No, he can not. Had he beaten Everton and Leicester then maybe they could absorb the losses with a good showing. At this point he can not afford to lose. He's down in 6th with Spurs and Brighton above him. A loss to LP puts them 7 up, city 6 up and probably means a race for 4th is all they have.Just looking ahead to Man United's schedule - can OGS afford to go 1-0-2?
Home to Liverpool
Away to Spurs
Home to City
International Break
There are a couple of CL matches against Atalanta thrown in the mix - but that is a tough stretch, when the pressure is already on OGS. Assuming they beat Spurs - can he afford to lose to both Liverpool and City at home?
Yeah, that was about as obvious as it comes. If they aren't going to call that, just change the rule. He absolutely influenced the play. Not involved in the play even though HE HAD TO JUMP OVER THE BALL as it's on the way into the net. This rule is going to kill me.
Doesn't get any clearer. Can't argue it at all. High boot to the face of Firmino.gonna need to see the replay of this straight red to griezman
Seemed clear on replay. Missed it entirely live and expected something less obvious.gonna need to see the replay of this straight red to griezman
me too, i was looking at an email and only heard the announcers reaction. was expecting an elbow or something and not a boot that highSeemed clear on replay. Missed it entirely live and expected something less obvious.

wait... are you there, there? or just the team...Currently at Bramall Lane, 1-1 v Millwall. Think we've had more of the play, just need more cutting edge
I am there there watching us get done over by a ref seemingly from Bermondseywait... are you there, there? or just the team...
