🐴 *** 2023 Aniscule Thread *** 🇮🇹 Ha Vinto Il Cavallo Di Mio Cugina - ARCANGELO! 🇮🇹 🐴 (1 Viewer)

Explain your position. And show evidence.

Lots of posts were deleted. It was ugly. This isn't court and there won't be "evidence" to display. That's the "explanation" of the position.

Now please let's get this back to talking about the topic.

All I'm asking is for is the moderators, or any "accusers" for that matter, to prove their point.

I've been accused of being a troll, and more, over and over. PROVE IT. Show us. Otherwise, anyone that reads this thread assumes it, on a completely false pretense.

Is that too much to ask? I can and will back anything I've stated. The "trolls" here are the ones stirring the pot.

SHOW WHAT I HAVE SAID THAT WAS AGAINST YOUR "POLICY" TERMS. And I will show you posters that violated those same terms, and more, with no consequences and privilege.

I find it very interesting, this dynamic. Again, actually read what had been said -- and more importantly, what was deleted -- and then let Joe decide, where this all came from. AND, what's best for the board he tirelessly built.

Open discussion, or censorship?

There were posts where I apologized profusely, for nothing more than a different point of view -- which have since been deleted -- that would only help readers decide on their own (who is FOS or not). Instead, this is some clique, where opposing viewpoints are not only not allowed, but censored. What kind of "message board" would you call that?

And calling another poster a DOUCHE BAG (which is fine by me, but CLEARLY not allowed)? Who do the TOS apply to exactly? It was conveniently deleted, btw. So that poster's got carte blanche? Hello, myself, and many others, would be gone for 6 months, easy, with that kind of behavior. How old are we again? Judge, you're not in your 20's anymore.

This is why this place is dying, imo. Although I really do hope I'm wrong, because it was great, for decades, and can be great again, but the hypocrisy is off the charts at this point. Where it's coming from, no idea, but Joe probably has an inclination.

Bobbo shipped his horses to Pimlico, stating that Arabian Lion will likely be pointed to the Sir Barton, ergo sitting out the Preakness.

still think if Irad didn't go all Irad that he could've taken down First Mission in the Lex

just a bizarre stretch - like he needed to plant Saez over the fence ... all that wasted energy were the difference at the wire.

Desormeaux yanks Con Game out the Preakness - leaving Disarm as the lone Derby refugee to challenge Mage ... Coffeewithchris, last seen clunking 5th in the Tesio, slides in.

can't recall a Preak so devoid of Derby timber - guess we'll see most of the fellas back here at Belmont.

- another fatality at Churchill today - in the 6th, Dale Roman's trained #10 Rio Moon broke down crossing the line - Martin Garcia on board ... horse attended pace most of the way, was eased back to last place as it wound down ... actually looked like Garcia were looking to come to a full stop, but horse kept galloping - very odd sequence.

this is the 8th on track death since meet started 2 weeks ago, 9th when you include Wild on Ice, who went down during a workout.

Churchill are in a right mess with all this ... surface too souped up? dunno.

just horrible.

Damn ☹️

Preak Draw Today 5:30 B'awlmore Time

only interesting aspects here are ...

1) who are finally actually entered (could be 10, most likely 8 - Instant Coffee on the fence)

2) how low will Mage be on ml - British books still listing at 2/1, which may be where they slot him officially today, but a 9-5 would not shock me (and prolly 4/5ish come post time) , nor would a 5/2 on First Mission.

Blazing Sevens still hovering at mid teens (16-1) in old Blighty.

Disarm - OUT

first field in my lifetime sans Derby timber ... oooff.
It's almost like they want Mage to get a triple crown.

Liking Blazing Sevens. but wouldn't be surprised if Baffert wins it with National Treasure as a giant FU to racing in general. Of course, it will drop dead shortly after.

Does it help or hurt the Triple Crown chance though? Only fresh shooters followed by likely more horses off a 5 week layoff seems like it would Mage's task more difficult, no?

How much does presumably a drop in field talent at Pimlico offset that?

Yeah, I agree that letting horses like AoE rest up for the Belmont will make his task harder, but this is the weakest Preakness field I can remember. Can't get three if you don't get the second, and it seems like this one is his for the taking.

fresher horses don't necessarily equate to better challengers - they may be more rested at this stage, but Mage has a very distinct class advantage, and appears very fit - he is no mortal lock, tho ... we've seen weirder things happen - but we gonna need a lights out run from somebody to hold off a TC bid at Belmont.

1 National Treasure 4-1
2 Chase The Chaos 50-1
3 Mage 8/5
4 Coffeewithchris 20-1
5 Red Route One 10-1
6 Perform 15-1
7 Blazing Sevens 6-1
8 First Mission. 5-2

odds are pretty much as i expected, except for B7s - the Chad factor kicked in on that 6/1 ... he's gonna get pounded down, what with his name (Blazing Sevens) coming out the seven hole? all the aunt Tillys & bingo moms & soused poker player punters are gonna plunk for the upset - watch him go!

so Johnny V fires out with NT and gets right on the engine - FM will cross all the way over to attend and rate off - Mage, RR1, B7s will be coming late to clean up the garbage also-rans ... but the pace will not setup anything like the Derby

not a ton of early speed here, can see softish fractions (24/48) - JV will absolutely try to Kingsbarns this lot ... he will be the one to catch as we hit mid-stretch, no question.

who knows, we haven't seen Mage break clean in any of his stakes outings ... maybe if he does this time we get a round tripper?

I’m throwing some dollars at Perform.

I realize he was facing junk and probably won’t repeat it in his life, but that stretch run in the Tesio last out was something

I really hope National Treasure or CoffeewithChris provide some speed early on Saturday for Mage to run into. Not looking like much of a speed duel but same was said about the derby and that had some very fast fractions. (22 and 45). First Mission seems like the safest bet with his stalking running style compared to Mage's closer style. NT will be overbet, and the only way he wins this is with a Kingsbarns type fractions. He doesn't have the speed numbers to last imo. Only other horse outside the top 2 that peaks my interest is Blazing Sevens, but I am still not sure he can even hang without a big step forward and I can't see betting him at less than 6-1. Disappointing weak field for the 2nd leg of the TC.

Still early, but initially thinking a 8 / 3 / 1-4-6-7 Tri and a 8 / 3-7 Ex

National Treasure

Bobbo gave him a 6f blowout 2 weeks ago, came home 1:11.20 (!)... followed up by a 4f in 47.4 last week - that 6f work is serious biz for BB, and NT blew these away with ease.

they are also going first time blinks for this, with a jock who has excelled on the engine for this barn quite well.

how long can he last? how hard will he be used?

very little doubt, just like 2P's in the Derby, that NT will be the one to catch in the stretch - i highly doubt JV gets bothered by the local speed who may go out with, but they will press him.

Red Route One is becoming much more interesting to me now ... his close in the Bath House at Oaklawn is a champ's winning move - not to mention similar in the mucky Rebel - his stablemate Disarm dropping out is another boon to his prospects.

NT has staying concerns - but if they let him go out like Early Voting last year, he will hang in for a piece - BB is on this.

the four behind Mage (NT, B7s, FM, RR1) would be a hell of a race sans the KD winner - whatcha got, fellas?

can ya go get it?

I expect a slow trip for Red Route One getting mired in a ridiculous amount of traffic and continuously being cut off.

This analysis is not informed at all by my commute home from work.

seeing rumors floating about of an early morning Pimlico presser - word is First Mission will be put on vet's list, and scratched.

nothing substantiated or confirmed yet, but we'll see soon enough.

if so, expect Mage to go off at 2/5 tmrw at post time ...

NT/RR1/B7s ...

- and hope for a bounce ...

otherwise, gotta bang the straight Mage/NT ex., Mage/NT/RR1/B7 in that order.

NT has a dream setup now - only speed that will challenge him are cheap and very disposable - the 3 bigger class entries (Mage/RR1/B7s) in the field come off the pace, so NT will now be free to dictate this pace ... Johnny V/Bobbo/1st time blinks/1 hole.

if he can't hit the exacta given those peripherals, then it's time for Pleasanton.

I get it, and I’ll have a few tri keys with him. But my bankroll isn’t large so it’s hard to make decent money playing faves in a short field

My has boy run well since they switched him to 2 turns. Won with a ridiculous trip last time (against nothing, I know) and his works are faster now than ever.

Plus…Shug 😃

obviously the only way to bag coin outta this is to keep Mage OUT, if not at least from the top of tix ... but all value gets sunk to s*** if he even bottoms out the tri, tbh - lest the two longest shots come in up top, and i really don't see it.

i'm certainly not suggesting WIN wager here on NT, but ... Pimlico is the closest thing to S.A. inasmuch that it can be an extremely friendly track to front speed, and that's the way it looks to be playing atm.

is why i'm hot on RR1 to pick up the back of this ... and there may be some rain tomorrow, only heightening his particular stock.

i watched the Tesio a coupla times, and that kid Feargal is a ballsy pilot ... may have been the best dart and weave and chuck and duck and slithering to a win as i've seen in years ... but the kid just don't have the speed to top this off.
