4th rounder isn't a big deal to give up in general - as long as they pick well with the rest that they have.I don't think the Giants were a worry - not with the ?? they had in the secondary and Kevin Boss playing well.Boss is the whole reason they are even entertaining Shockey's rant this year as opposed to ignoring his last few.But we'll never know. It's a pick that will really get looked at closely. I like Keller - I just don't know he was the guy to jump back in for. Each of the top 3 or so TEs had +s and -s. They could have grabbed another guy. But if they really liked Keller and what he brought to the table, I give them the benefit of the doubt.Maybe they were worried the Giants were interested. There has been a lot of trade talk involving Shockey. I dont know, but Im glad they were aggressive in getting a player they really liked. Moving up to get players they targeted looks to have worked well last year, so im willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. If Keller turns out to be a really good player it wont matter to me that it cost a 4th rder to get him. I like the potential he could have in that offenseRumor has it the Jets were trying to move up for Flacco - not to 18 mind you, but back into round 1.May have been a smokescreen in order to scare Balt up - but true or not, they bit and jumped early for Joey F.However the Jets did at one point really want him. I wonder if they basically had a deal in place and decided to go ahead anyway in case they missed on Keller too.I just don't know who else would have grabbed him. And it wasn't a top need.Keller could be a good player. I'm not sure he's worth the leap back into the round though.
