I found out the other night (after a decade of fantasy football with draft choices no higher than #5) that I have the #1 pick!

Its a point per rec redraft league and im trying to figure out who I should take.

LT - loss of qb, but does get a lot of pass rec

LJ - loss of roaf and fullback, but has big upside based on last year

SA - consistent, probably the safe pick - however he has the madden curse since he is on the cover?

Good luck, fella. I found out the other day that I have the 2nd pick in my high stakes league. The 2nd pick is the easiest pick on the board this year. LT or LJ, whoever falls to you. I give LT a slight advantage over LJ, because Rivers is always going to be looking for a safety valve, which should bring LT's receiving numbers up this year (after two years of decline). Either way, you're better off than the guy at 4 who's trying to decide between Tiki Barber (career years behind him), SJax and RBrown.

Thank you - good luck to you as well..Was talking to someone about the LT point you just made and the amount of check downs he should see.. This is an upside.. I'll have a decent weekend to review this some more as it seems a lot of starters should play at least a half this weekend. One area with LT that I'm worried about is the TD production, will he have as many as LJ or Shaun Alexander and if they are close then it seems the point per rec would lean toward LT making him the right choice.. Its a tough decision but for once a great one to have..
