It's all rumor and useless to speculate until we know something about these ####s.

But there may be something to the inside job. It's all just rumor and conjecture but early on it was speculated that someone who works at the county or who works at the facility was involved. Just because someone was there, left and came back doesn't mean that what they did was precipitated by something that happened at the party. It was obviously planned. The man who came, left and returned may have been at the event to ensure that a target was in fact at the party. --- Drugs (gang/narco) could make sense because that would account for the organization, so would militia. Islamic terrorism seems really unlikely though, they have the capability but the target is so specific and odd it seems unlikely.

As many as three assailants, who carried long guns and wore masks, opened fire on a gathering of San Bernardino county employees around 11 a.m., sources and a witness told the Los Angeles Times.

A senior federal official who is monitoring the case said investigators believe one of the shooters left the party after getting into an argument and returned with one or two armed companions.

LA Times says angry guy at the party. But that just doesn't make any sense to me. Angry guy leaves party, returns with a gun, starts shooting, that I get. Angry guy leaves party, changes into bullet proof vest and mask, gets 2 buddies to change into bullet proof vests and masks, returns to the party with guns? Pretty unlikely.
