This is the kind of situation I am in. Woodhead is so tempting but he seems boom or bust depending on how the game starts out. Thanks to injuries to Bowe and McGahee I'm stuck with Alex green in my starting. Considering picking up Woodcock or Jackie Battle or Brinkley.
I'm thinking about Ingram myself because I have no idea what will happen with Ridley now, damn it.lol @ people thinking Ballard is a shaky start. No-brainer. The Moore fumble at the goal-line was like icing on the cake.Good matchup, but aren't the Colts a passing team? Plus Moore was vulturing at the goal line. Would anyone actually have the stones to start Mark Ingram Danny Woofhead, or Alex Green?
You have to think Bellichick is getting tired of the fumbles every game...Regarding Ballard, I see what you are saying, but I'm struggling to stomach him starting on a championship team. I'm usually loaded at RB and have sure starters. Not in this case. I will probably pick up Ingram to have yet another options to drive myself mental.I'm thinking about Ingram myself because I have no idea what will happen with Ridley now, damn it.lol @ people thinking Ballard is a shaky start. Woodhead would be a very shaky play this week. He plays more when the Pats are in a tough game. They will smoke the Jags and run a lot more in traditional sets this week with a bigger back. I actually expect Bolden might come back into the mix and lead the team in running again this week.Good matchup, but aren't the Colts a passing team? Plus Moore was vulturing at the goal line. Avoidwith mathews out, who gets the carries? battle, brown, or brinkley? committee? situation to avoid like the plague?
Alex green and beanie wells are available in my league. Don't know if those guys are startable thoughAvoidwith mathews out, who gets the carries? battle, brown, or brinkley? committee? situation to avoid like the plague?
Hard to trust Beanie against the Bears. Not being a homer but I think Green is the better option against the Titans. You can't expect a lot but matchup certainly is good and the Packers should control the game which should mean a lot of running. Grant and Harris are very much in the mix but I think Green's a safe bet to get around 15 touches. I wouldn't feel good about him as my RB2, though, but if times are tough and those are your choices I'd go with Green over Wells.Alex green and beanie wells are available in my league. But is this better than SJax @ Tampa or BJGE @ Pitt? Alex Green and Bilal Powell and Deangelo on the waiver. Can Deangelo and the panthers do it in back to back weeks?with mathews out, who gets the carries? battle, brown, or brinkley? committee? situation to avoid like the plague?
i am actually just playing keep away. my opponent is in bad shape. hes got BJGE, mathews, battle, stewart, and MJD. Looks like he is starting BJGE and battle this week unless he picks somebody up. I had a couple extra def so I just dropped them both for green and wells. the rb ww is really barren now.Hard to trust Beanie against the Bears. Green missed practice Wednesday due to a concussion, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Spin: Coach Mike McCarthy said it was evident after Sunday's game that Green was experiencing concussion symptoms. Even though McCarthy expects Green to be active Sunday against Tennessee, fantasy owners may want to make a speculative dart on fellow backs DuJuan Harris or Ryan Grant. We'll keep an eye on Green Bay's running back situation as the weekend draws closer.
Yea, in a similar boat. Somehow I made it to the finals where I have Mcfadden and SJAX. Probably going McFadden, but can't decide between DeAngelo, SJAX, or Dwyer for the last spot.Anyone else limping into a championship game with no true RB2? Sad but true, I am down to Ballard, Dwyer, and Wilson. Looking to fortify my bench with a RB or two to give me more options. What does the FBG universe say?
This is my thinking as well. I'm choosing between Bradshaw, DWill, LeShoure, and Ballard for my RB2 (behind Marshawn). I've got Ballard plugged in right now and he looks pretty damn shiny and juicy in that spot right now. Just might leave him there.Ballard has topped 100 total yards the last two games, no longer has meaningful competition for touches and his head coach can't stop raving about him. Again I'll say that if you have Ballard right now you have no RB2 issues to worry about. Hell, you might have two RB1s considering how good the matchup is for the Colts this week.

Thanks for the jinx, GB. Real no-brainer!! So far Ingram and Dwyer look like better starts. And yes, I will gladly eat crow if Ballard wakes up.ETA - Woodhead also with a score.ETA 2 - And Grant (who replaced Green) with a score.ETA 3 - Grant with another. Safe to say I got bronged!!I'm thinking about Ingram myself because I have no idea what will happen with Ridley now, damn it.lol @ people thinking Ballard is a shaky start. No-brainer.
