2 round mock draft in the books ! (1 Viewer)

Grin did a nice job on the Steelers first round pick, love to get Mangold.

My two cents on round two...

Assuming Randle El leaves the Steelers will have a void at WR. Looks like Mo Stovall, WR Notre Dame, is still on the board. He is a Plaxico clone on the field, would give Roethlisberger a nice deep threat on jump balls. Playing a year under Charlie Weis in a pro O has done wonders for his game. He'd be a steal if he slipped this far on draft day.

Anyone favor Ferguson here? I've seen that talk, but I can't imagine the Titans pass over a possible franchise QB that has ties to McNair...
Sorry for the late inputYou will see a trade down here in April

Just got back from dinner. I was thinking Stovall or Martin Nance with this pick - Stovall comes from the more impressive program, while Nance has a familiarity with Roethlisberger from their days at Miami and the two put up big numbers together. Either one would be fine by me atthis point. Where's Bloom to give his input? :)

I'm no help. I find these two WRs very difficult to separate. I've seen plenty of Stovall, little of Nance. With that in mind, it sounds like Nance may be a little tougher over the middle character, while Stovall is a little better in the redzone with the tough catches. Maybe that is a little help?

Nance ran a littel faster 40.
I like Nance here too. I live close to Miami U. so I've seen him play a lot. I'm suprised his vert is as low as it was at the combine. It seems like he is always going up and getting it.

I guess we'll know more after the Pro Days, but I have seen some sites rate Nance higher and other rate Stovall higher, so at this point, given the similarities between the two, I figured Roethlisberger's familiarity with Nance, personally and on the field, would be the sway factor making this pick.
