2007 Redskins RB situation (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for thoughts on the Redskins RB situation. Betts really turned it on at the end of the season, and Portis is now complaining about the coaches. Could it be that the Skins will trade Portis an Betts ends up being the guy and therefore a fantasy stud?

I ask for those of us in keeper leagues -- it may very well be a great risk to throw a mid-round pick at the owner of Betts at this point for next year for the potential of this very situation happening, but that really depends on the likelihood. Thoughts?

I'd say there's about a 5% chance Portis is traded and I'm only going that high because I'd never say there is a 0% chance.

I think I'd trade Portis if I could get good value for him. His value is pretty low right now, but if I could get someone to give me like a top 10-15 RB and a top 10 WR, I might pull the trigger. A draft pick would be nice if not a WR.

Depends on your league rules - how many RBs/WRs do you start? PPR?

Please answer mine.

We start 2 RB's and 3 WR's, and no PPR. I guess I was thinking more that Betts may somehow end up with the starting job, and he might be worth trying to acquire cheaply before more info is known. Thanks all for the input.

Betts is not starting over Portis!

Based on some of the things Portis has been saying on local DC radio shows this week, his days in Ashburn could be numbered.
