In retrospec it's an ok team, this year I'm going to adjust my strategy to get it to ballpark how much I should spend on each position (i.e. WR1 $25, WR2 $15, RB1$50, etc) based on how players are generally being priced and projected and use my own research to pick the best player from each price range.

How does one have multiple teams?

I think if you purchase multiple subscriptions etc, you can have multiple teams.. A couple of people asked about it last year and my only solution was for them to create multiple accounts on my site.

he dern near won the whole thang which is why i am hesitant to change mine this year, i tried 213 times to get the 250/22 nailed last year to bow out week 2 or 3this year first time through 45 seconds i hit 250/22 on the nose with only lack of depth at RB (but if you RB gets njured you're probably beat anywaysi may just run with it due to FSUfans success LOL

This year's feels different. I can tweak a dollar here and a dollar there, but for the most part I'm locked in on my selections. Maybe I need to go reread a few hype threads (Chris Johnson anyone) and see if I can shake myself loose.

This year's feels different. I can tweak a dollar here and a dollar there, but for the most part I'm locked in on my selections. Maybe I need to go reread a few hype threads (Chris Johnson anyone) and see if I can shake myself loose.

I'm set everywhere except for RB. Whatever combo I come up with, I'm just not comfortable with it. I'm going to just wait and see how things come about in training camps.

IMO that squad doesn't have enough depth and it's too tightly coupled to the Colts. If they have a down week, you're in a lot of trouble.

Last year, it continued to tally your scores after you were out of the contest (because it didnt know your contest status). Since the data will not be coming from FBG, I wont have the ability to check if your team is in the contest or not. I could add some identifier that you could tell it what week you got knocked out of the contest, then it would color code from there..

That is it? i tried 200,000 times (CPU assisted, of course) to get eh 250/22 with max points....

Not a lot of real jump-right-out-at-you value like there has been in years past. I see one WR value pick that I like a lot, 2 RB value picks, and 1 TE pick.

But I'm not really liking my first pass at a team. Which is OK, since I'll update it 522 times before it's final.

You got me to thinking about it. I've made I'm guessing maybe 70-100 edits of my squad. I maintain of separate spreadsheet for tiering the candidates based on net value including cost consideration (empirical / judgemental versus programmatic).I'm stuck now waiting for fresh input from Week3 preseason games, as the roster has stabilized to the point where I have identified value in each position stack in terms of who I'd go for above and below current position points if something in my perspective changes. Point being that the endless tweaking of the roster phase is over (it's been a couple days since my last edit).

So I'm gonna put the average roster edits of contestants at 120. Maybe Joe or The Turk can monitor and publish edit count statistics.

So this means, for example, that in week 2, teams ranking 10,001 and below in points for that week will be cut? How are ties handled? Is it top 10,000 PLUS ties or it will be trimmed to 10,000 or less regardless of ties?

So, I intend on providing an app to allow semi live scoring for teams in the contest again..Last year, we ran into a couple of issues that I intend on improving this year..Here are my thoughts, feel free to add any suggestions.- Incorporate the logic to guesstimate the cutoff score each week- Allow for multiple teams with one sign in - Change the backend coding so the site loads fasted later in the yearWhat else do you guy want to see this year?
