I'm not sure about that. Marshall is the second-most-taken WR and Smith is the 8th. I think the number of people scared off by the suspensions was balanced (and then some) by the number who were thinking along the same lines as you.
Doug, thanks for the statistics. Very interesting stuff as always. I have a quick question for you: how many teams have *both* TE Jason Witten (6.7%) *and* TE Tony Gonzalez (2.8%)?? My 2008 strategy is weird, locking up $54 on the TE.Last year I barely missed the money in week 17, and did it with just 1 TE rostered (Scaife). This year, I just fell in love with the strategy of two elite TEs, with the thought of getting great positional advantage and probably getting my flex from the TE as well, with the 1.5 PPR. If they both get 80+ catches, I might make some noise again this season.
