Is this my swan song?

Week 6 OUT:

Parker, CJ3, Warner, Fitzgerald, Colston, Reggie Williams, Robert Royal, Rob Bironis

Week 6 LEFT:

Orton, Romo, TJones, Ricky Williams, Slaton, BMarshall, Harrison, KWalter, Greg Olson, AFasano, DKeller, PK Crosby, Bears, Rams
FYI.. Arizona plays this week against the Cowboys. They are off week 7.. Should help you out a bit..
 I combined the Week 6 and Week 7 bye weeks... :lmao:

cutoff 122.20

my team 122.00

ouch

:censored:  :bye:

eta: took a zero at TE....not even a catch out of V. Davis or Carlson....Keller on bye....one stinkin catch and I'm still alive

Thank you Sinorice Moss - 20.50

Total this week 129.50...

This was my first year trying this out and selected to TE's for the same bye week (This week). I was glad to make it past that.

My team in terms of uniqueness...

Steve Slaton - 74.9%

Kurt Warner - 62.0%

Ricky Williams - 54.4%

Ray Rice - 48.1%

Brandon Marshall - 38.9%

Dustin Keller - 34.1%

Jerricho Cotchery - 30.5%

Jay Cutler - 26.6%

Jason Hanson - 24.2%

Clinton Portis - 23.9%

Steve Smith (CAR) - 17.8%

Jake Delhomme - 15.1%

Steve Breaston - 14.1%

Kris Brown - 13.3%

Miami Dolphins defense - 12.2%

Derrick Mason - 9.6%

Maurice Jones-Drew - 8.9%

Maurice Morris - 8.1%

New York Jets defense - 8.1%

Reggie Williams - 6.1%

Leon Washington - 3.9%

Tony Gonzalez - 3.5%

My best unique combo is Maurice Jones-Drew, Clinton Portis, Steve Smith, and Tony Gonzalez. Gonzo is my only player on a bye, so I'll have to take whatever Dustin Keller puts up vs CIN. I like MJD vs 25th-ranked DEN and Portis vs 28th-ranked STL. Slaton has a tough game vs 7th-ranked MIA, but as he was only $1, I doubt the 74.9% owned rate will decrease by much, even if he has a bad game.

Good luck to everyone in week 6 (except the other 214 remaining Gonzo owners).

My first one too. That was about the only thing I checked out as far as byes, was to make sure I had 2 TEs, QBs, Ks and Ds with different bye weeks. The only reason I don't have major bye week issues with my other players is pure luck.

I just about had a heart attack. FantasyStar had me at 118. I thought I missed the cutoff, but it has Steve Smith with only 4.7 and had me using Marshall instead. Add Smith's 10 extra points and I went from 118 to 128!!

:pokey:

I had been averaging about 180 points per week, but this week was a nail-biter. Last night I only had the Minn D left and I had only scored about 119 points. Funny thing is I got home around 8:45 and saw that the score was 27-27 and I was sure that the Minn D had put up a zero. Thank the lord for special teams TDs.

You went with no active TEs this week?
You are correct. Big ZERO at TE, but I survived. I had never participated before and made a quick entry and never got back to checking/changing it.It's not likely that I'm going to go much farther, but you never know.Only went with 2 QB's: Brees and Schaub, so that could hurt me soon enough.

I bid adieu. Got nailed with the Burress suspension and Santana Moss putting up a big fat zero to go along with Cotchery's bye.

Any parting gifts for 7205th place? :goodposting:

sure would be nice to add bye weeks to the team report next year
I'd prefer that they keep it out. Leaving it out gives an advantage to those that think about bye weeks and take the time to look it up themselves. Putting it in the report may help you with bye weeks, but it would also help everyone else too, causing cut numbers to rise putting you at a disadvantage.

Anyone here one of the 12 extremely disappointed owners of DeAngelo Williams that were still alive, but got ousted in week 5?

Thats probably because you have the wrong Steve Smith entered. My Steve Smith scored 15.6 on fantasy star. That or you didnt click the weekly column headings to update the scores.I'm glad I made it through my nasty bye week. I would have hated to get beat by a guy with 14 kickers.. :hot:

Gotta love the 14 Kicker team (unless she outlasts you) :lmao:

Only 3 teams out there with the WR combo of

Boldin

Calvin Johnson

Marshall

Cotchery

2 survived this brutal week. Nice group if we hold on till the Quan returns.

There are a few of you that did that, and I did fix it in the scoring predictor when I noticed the total $ spent was off. A couple did it with the Mannings too.

I've got two, very much alive. I benefited from Quan's injury with Breaston. 165.8 this week, which is my lowest so far, with a high of 184.6I haven't had many bye weeks yet, so this could be interesting.

if nothing else, my squad is steady

low week: 155.00

high week: 166.75

the high week was posted this week, with top 3 WR's OUT:

Plax, Colston and Cotch

B team of Ike Bruce , ARE and ABryant posted about 40...nice!

and Steve Slaton has saved my bacon--Portis has been solid, but Westy has huge ??? going forward

good luck to all remaining!

4th overall last week, out this week. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.......... that was fun
Oof. That sux, better luck next year.Lessoned to be learned there, tho. Don't get too caught up in the weekly rankings, they're pretty much worthless for anything other than something to talk about until the next week's games.

Not looking good for my squad. Was a bad week for Burress to get suspended as he is counting as my flex right now!!!108.5 (-4 w/ NO Defense and -0 Patten/Meachem).Definitely possible though. Meachem has had two 10+pt weeks in a row, needs to make that three. I expect NO defense to score more than 4pts also.
Whoa!Survived by 0.4 this week. Thank you NO st/defense (or should I say Chris Kluwe) and Meachem!Could propel me to greatness.....or not....

Man these power rankings are totally biased. I mean how can you possibly have the entry with 14 kickers ranked last in the power rankings :lmao: :lmao:

-QG

Do the six digit team numbers have anything to do with the roster make-up ? I found a team that is very similar to mine and his team number is only one digit off from mine.

Just a heads up, since I am out I will not be following this thread as closely, if you have any problems with theFantasyStar.com scoring, please post it in the forums there so I can address it.
