2008 NFL Draft - Tight Ends (1 Viewer)

Wisconsin has a great one in Travis Beckum: he is 53/625 and 3 TDs, but he is playing with a first year starting QB on a team that runs the ball.

keep an eye on both Mizzou tight ends, especially Rucker. I like the two mentioned above, plus Pettigrew, Findley, and the youngster at Texas A&M (Bennett)

Add Jermane Gresham of Oklahoma with his four touchdown receptions tonight against Texas A&M
Gresham is a Sophomore so you'll want to remove him from this conversation.Gresham is going to be a stud, and I don't mean Eric Johnson. He's going to be Antonio Gatesish.

Re: Missouri TEs

I heard a lot about Martin Rucker last year but found out the other day that Paul Coffman's kid is the star there. Hopefully the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Fred Davis (USC) is a good one.

Kellen Davis is another one who might be a better pro than he is at Michigan State. Physically, he's a stud. He played defense too when called upon (DE).

This is a strange year for TE's coming out of college. It always seems like there are guys that are being talked about like Davis or Olsen, but this year there is noone that is jumping out. Could we see a 1st round that doesn't have a TE drafted?
