2009 Rookie RB's (1 Viewer)

I took over a dynasty team this year and traded away the vets for youth (which is not my normal MO in Dynasty leagues).

I seldom go young and often don't have good picks.

Hence, I don't follow college and rookies as much as I do the pros.

I never had my #1 pick, but I ended up in last place.

I'll probably be there again next year.

I need RB help badly

How strong will the 2009 group be?

Way too early to say for sure.

Chris Wells will probably be a first round pick.

Kevin Smith will probably be a top 50 pick.

Knowshon Moreno will be eligible and would be a first round pick, but he will only be a sophomore and may elect to stay another year.

A handful of guys will inevitably emerge out of nowhere like they did this year.

It's just too early to get an accurate feel for the talent level.

I agree it's too early to say because we don't know who's coming out this year....what will felix jones do, how about slaton?

You can forget about moreno that team is really young and too much talent will be coming back in 2010 for moreno to leave after next year.

Wells will be a stud in '09.

And if Jones doesn't come out this year he will be right up there with Wells as the #1 RB taken in the draft.

Watch for Marlon Lucky from Nebraska. He's got great size (5'11 210?) and good speed, very good out of the backfield (caught 75 passes? led the team), only issue is that he hasn't shown himself to be very elusive so far.

A couple years ago I remember seeing something in this forum about the young high school phenom, Noel Devine (sp?). A couple days ago I caught some of his Sportscenter highlight in WVirginia's bowl game. Looks like he's got the goods. Don't know how long he'll stay in school. What is he a freshmen? sophmore?

A couple days ago I caught some of his Sportscenter highlight in WVirginia's bowl game. Looks like he's got the goods. Don't know how long he'll stay in school. What is he a freshmen? sophmore?

Noel Devine had the greatest HS highlight reel I have ever seen. Hands down ,Period!

He's a freshman, so he won't be eligible to 2010 i believe.

Some of it is horrible tackling but the guy was still able to pull out some incredible runs. Some like I have never seen before.
