2010 Offseason Dynasty Trades (2 Viewers)

Made this one the other day. .5 PPR, 2RB, 3WR plus a flex (good teams start a third RB)Team A (ADP owner) gets Mike Sims-Walker and 2.02 rookie pick (Toby Gerhart) Team B gets Michael Bush and Arian Foster.Thoughts?
Pretty even, depends on the team needs. If I had good WRs I'd trade MSW for Bush/Foster. Really like Bush this year though.

12 team, 2-3-flex (can start TE in flex) Ppr= .5 for rb, 1 for wr, 1.5 for te

Traded Steven Jackson for Brent celek, this years 2.10 and next years 1st rounder.

Yeah, it was very needs-driven. MSW was my third or fourth receiver depending on where you see him and Smith, whereas I was quite weak at RB. I'd shopped Smith/MSW all offseason, and this was the best I could come up with. Plus I couldn't get excited about anyone at 2.02 (Gerhart, McCluster were the two worth considering).

MSW, not close for me.

Made a couple of deals yesterday...14 team PPR dev leagueGave Andre Roberts/1.13 dev pick (became Jake Locker)Got Kenny Britt10 team PPR QB heavyGave Steve Smith (CAR)/Bradshaw/Lynch/DanielsGot Felix/VJax/Carlson/2011 3rd
Nice buy low on Britt.Second deal is flat out rape.

Team A gave up Arian Foster and 2011 3rd round pick

Team B gave up Jerricho Cotchery and 2011 1st round pick

---Team A is all set at RB and wanted 1st round pick. Team B needed RB with Tate going down.

Give me the 1st alone, Cotchery is gravy.

Another owner in my 12 team ppr league seems to want Jamaal Charles bad. In the last 24 hours, he made the following offers:

* Joe McKnight, Fred Davis, and Emmanuel Sanders. I declined.

* Percy Harvin, Jonathan Dwyer and Emmanuel Sanders for both Charles and TB Mike Williams. I declined.

* His 1st round rookie pick for next year. I declined.

10 team non-PPR

Anthony Dixon RB SF for 2011 2nd round pick (Gore and B. Tate owner)

TJ Houshmandzadeh WR SEA + 5.3 for Kareem Huggins RB TB (drafted at 5.1)

He must not want him very badly with those offers.

Those are some pretty crappy offers.

I assume there were contract issues at play here.
Found it impossible to trade Housh for anything based on age and only 10 teams means there are enough WRs to go around usually. Was a 7th WR for me. Was planning on dropping him anyway. If Huggins is RB2 in TB behind an injury prone Caddy, he has more value to my team.

in a startup i traded my 5th round pick

for his 2011 1st and his 2010 10th. he didnt have a running back and ryan grant was still available.

what do yall think?

12-team, .5 PPR, 2RB, 3WR dynasty league (good teams start a 3rd RB at flex)

I traded Jermichael Finley and Arian Foster for Dez Bryant.

What do you guys think of Reggie Wayne as a sell high candidate?

Also have D. Bowe, H. Douglas, M. Floyd, Jacoby Jones and R. Moss.

Occasionally read where someone thought he looked a step slower as last year progressed, and lots of young, quality receivers stepping up in Indy.

Ride this horse one more year, or get a lot while I can?

Thanks

You already missed the boat on that one. You likely won't get anywhere near what you think you should for him.

That's possible. FBG's still has him ranked #5 wr (in our scoring format), so there's still some value there.

That's up there with the best value I've seen someone get for SJax
Ok so same league, I traded Randy moss for this years 1.07 and next years 3rd rounder. (1st 2 rounds are rookies, 3rd starts rookies/FA's). Then during the draft (I had first pick every round) I traded 1.07 2.01 and 2.10 for 1.03 and 2.03. I grabbed Best at 1.03 and clausen at 2.03. Took Dez at 1.01. So, My team is minus Steven Jackson and randy moss and 2.01. I added a 1st next year, a 3rd next year, Brent Celek, jahvid best, Jimmy clausen, and dez Bryant.

I have a similar possibility, except no ppr or flex. Just curious, was there any league reaction?
Another owner said that he would have been willing to offer more for than I did for Dez (looking at his roster, I'm not sure how). The only other non-participant I've talked to about the trade thought it made sense for both teams.

My buddy got 1.2, 1.4 for Reggie Wayne in my league. Good savvy owner that traded the rookie picks away....couldn't believe it. Although he was loaded at RB and desperately needed a WR....still cannot believe anyone else would give that for Reggie Wayne at this point.

12-team PPR - Traded Jordy Nelson & a likely 2011 mid-2nd for Hester...

14-team PPR, No TE Required - Traded Demaryius Thomas, M.Moore, Cooley, Gresham & Decker for Rivers & Knox...

Both are square deals, in my opinion.

I'm fine with the first deal, but think you sold low on the rookies in the second one.

Could be the case, but in a 1PPR Gresham may be worth some, but unlikely better than a 2 or 3 WR/TE if he's elite. I already have 4 starting wide receivers and need a top notch QB.It's funny, opinions on that deal have been all over the place. :DETA: If TE were required in that league, no way I'd make that deal.

Knox and Rivers are by far the best players in the deal. Great trade IMO.

I think we both got what we wanted here....In all honesty I hadn't considered moving SRice, but your offer made a lot of sense to me for my team. I started to consider the fact that SRice may have no meaningful impact for my squad in 2010, and that we really don't know what the QB situation will be in MN in 2011. You picked up TJax off waivers shows you have more faith in him than I do.I feel like I have a solid team in this league. With My QB's of Rothlisberger and Stafford though, I was a bit worried and VYoung should provide some decent depth. Owens likely only has 1 decent year in him, but he could be a solid contributor this year as a WR3/Flex imo. Garcon I may be higher on than many, but from what I've seen from Wayne, I think Garcon 'could' be a replacement for Wayne down the road. He gives me a little upside in my opinion anyways. I don't like giving up picks, but that 2011 1st is from the defending champ. I figured it was valued at 1.10-1.14 imo, so I was willing to add in that acquired pick.

A couple weeks back in a Zealots league, I made a few trades, the biggest was:

Dallas Cowboys will giveMiller, Zach OAK TEYear 2011 Round 1 Draft Pick from Dallas CowboysYear 2011 Round 3 Draft Pick from Dallas Cowboys* To Minnesota Vikings forFoster, Arian HOU RBBreaston, Steve ARI WRDaniels, Owen HOU TEYear 2011 Round 2 Draft Pick from Minnesota Vikings
I'm the Vikings. I also traded both Anthony Dixon and Javon Ringer for 3rd rounders next year.
