Time to come clean - Harvin for 1.09 was a fishing trip. There was no trade.I actually made what the SP thinks is a lowball offer for Harvin with the 1.09. All the posts were an attempt to validate the value of Harvin as being in the area of a 1.09 2012 rookie pick. The SP will be glad to know the trade offer I made was not accepted. Thanks for joining me on my fishing trip in the shark pool. Someone started another thread that this offseason is a joke. I disagree. It has been rather interesting thus far.Even if you thought Harvin was ridiculously overrated, I can't imagine that you couldn't get at least a mid-first for him. As a Harvin owner in a non-ppr league, I have turned down multiple options better than what you got.I see him getting his act together with Sanchez and playing up to his potential after his disastrous meltdown last season. I think his potential is greater than Harvin's. Better hands, better route runner, just as good YAC, on a slightly better offense in a division (AFC East) where the defenses are not as good as in the NFC North.

I scan this thread and spend time seeing values of my current players. I don't own Harvin or 1.9 so I didn't spend any time looking at it, I forgive you for your sin.I am sorry. I hope you guys can find it in yourselves to forgive me for being dishonest.
And it should be, because it will become of no value if the entire purpose is to post fake trades with the idea of devaluing a player one is trying to acquire.Time to come clean - Harvin for 1.09 was a fishing trip. I was not purposefully attempting to devalue a player for whom I was trying to obtain via trade. I legitimately thought he is valued at 1.09. I do not see Harvin ever being a WR1. I see him at his ceiling already which is low wr1 and more likely to remain wr2. I would be happy with that at 1.09. After these posts, I actually think that 1.09 this year offers a player who exceeds Harvin's future value in guys like Wright and maybe even Hill. My only fishing was to see if others shared my justification for NOT thinking I made a low ball offer for Harvin. Quite frankly, I am glad everybody disagrees with my valuation of Harvin. I stand by it and I guess I should consider myself lucky that the guy I offered the 1.09 refused it, as I might have a better player coming via the draft who will eclipse Harvin as a fantasy WR. Again, I do apologize if my dishonesty about who was wanting to trade the pick is somehow messing with the cleanliness of the shark pool water. The exercise was a learning experience for me and from what I can tell, my coming clean does not result in any permanent damage to this site. Frankly, all it did was if anythin, tarnish my own reputation. I can live with that. By next season this team will not even be close in favor of Team A.By the end of next season, we may be removing at least 2 of the >s.Looks like a bad deal to me. Eli > Freeman. Foster >>> Mathews. Tate > LeShoure (we'll see how LeShoure comes back this year). The only place Team A improves are the WR in Maclin vs. Harvin, I like Havrin more. And I'd prefer Little over Branch as well. Not part of this, and wondering if this is as lopsided to most as I see it?

I personally think people are closing the book way too quickly on Gabbert. He hasn't even had a full offseason to learn how to play. He just got thrown to the wolves last season with below average weapons.Wow. I don't know why anyone who give up Matt Flynn for Blaine Gabbert, even with where he'll end up being a complete unknown.Team A gave up Blaine GabbertTeam B gave up Matt Flynn Start 2 QB league (10 teams - 24 man rosters)
Not so sure leshoure and little are 7 times better than Tate and branch. I myself would still take Tate over both of them even with the big foster signing. I knew he needed time to adjust to the NFL but he looked awful. I was Team A. I looked at it like Rice was quite a bit over Best. I know both have had injury concerns, but I think Rice has a decent shot at being relevent 2 years from now. Best, not so much. my .02 anyway. My view was Best and 1.4 for Rice and 1.6. Best for Rice
2013 #1 for 2014 #1
The only part of that that makes sense to me is Best for Rice, someone must have a thing for him.

I think you did exceedingly fine. You got better and younger in all positions and can draft a good rookie wr at 2.1Did I make a good deal or blow it? This was a BIG trade. 12 team PPR dynasty.
I gave: AP, MJD, Marshall, Little, Vick
I got: Foster, 1.1 (Richardson), 2.1, Bradford
My roster is below
Bradford, Flacco, Sanchez
Foster, Richardson, DeAngleo, J.Rodgers, LeShoure, Starks, McCluster
Calvin, AJ Green, D.Moore, Hankerson, Damian Williams
Hernandez, Gates
1.11, 2.1, 2.11 rookie picks
I'd rather have the picks.2.32013 Second Round PickForDeangelo Williams
I love Richardson and all, but wow...12 tm nonppr* A gets Frank Gore RB SF; 2012 3rd round pick #1 (25th overall), 2012 1st round pick #1 (1st overall)* B gets Matt Flynn QB GB, Mark Ingram RB NO, Vincent Brown WR SD, DeMarco Murray RB DAL; 2012 1st round pick #10 (10th overall), 2013 1st round pick (late)
That awkward moment when the guy with 1.01 takes Blackmon. It can be agreed on, but I don't see how it is enforceable. Once the pick is made the other trade partner would have to immediately demand that the draft be stopped and the pick voided, along with the trade being reversed. That is assuming the Commish would be agreeable to intervene and that this situation is somehow covered by the rules. Plus if several picks were made after this before the draft was stopped, you might have several angry owners who didn't get the player(s) they thought they had drafted. You can do this???Second trades been done, it's got a stipulation that he can't choose Blackmon with the pick but he wasn't going to anyway.Overall it's nowHe's in the toughest Divison and doesn't have a hope this year. Has three first rounders this year (one for RG3/Luck) and two next year (one which should be top 4) so I can see why he did it. Negotiations for this have been going on a long time.In a 16 team league, having a high end QB like Drew Brees is huge, much more valuable than the 1.03 in my mind. The 1.10 > 1.16 and 2.11 as well, so I would much rather be on the Jambo Broncos side.If however, the team giving up Brees isn't in a "win now" mode, then I can understand it (but think he could have gotten more).Really curious to hear thoughts on this. 16 team .5 PPR dynasty (I wasn't involved)
Jambo Broncos gave up:

Year 2012 Draft Pick 1.16
Year 2012 Draft Pick 2.11

Best and Hankerson aren't worth anything IMO. One more hit and Best is out for good and Hankerson is, what, the number 3 or 4 WR in Washington now? The guy getting Floyd and Meachem killed it.How?
