Had this trade offered to me and obviously wasted no time accepting:

I gave:

Matt Flynn

2012 draft pick 1.9

I received:

Larry Fitzgerald

Jake Locker

I had offered this guy a few other deals for Fitz, with the most recent being Britt, Meachem, Wayne, and 1.9 for Fitz. I would have added Flynn to that deal had he asked. Instead, he rejected that deal and countered with the offer above.

Peyton Manning (Matt Ryan backup)

Chris Johnson

Ryan Mathews

Lesean McCoy

Calvin Johnson

Brandon Marshall

Brandon Lloyd

Jermichael Finley

He offered it or not makes no difference. That's a horrible trade. A joke really

You robbed the guy and should be ashamed.

I could actually see that deal breaking the other way eventually.

Stewart is every bit the talent that McCoy is. Just doesn't get as many touches.

Baldwin is one of my top breakout candidates at WR and potentially a perennial 1000+ yard guy down the road. Very valuable piece in PPR dynasty.

Add in the future 1st round pick and it's a deal with a lot of upside, albeit with a lot of risk.

EDIT: Just saw that it was a non-PPR league. Definitely lowers my opinion of the deal.

It's not that bad.
I agree, that's a lot of potential...

I agree with you on both Stewart and Baldwin. Also really like Wilson. Mainly just tired of waiting on Stewart and wanted to make a stud-lined lineup by completing this deal. I gave up alot, but it was worth it to me. Hopefully Baldwin does break out and Stewart finally shines like we all think he will and both ends of this trade works out.

I like the way you think! That is one hell of a line-up you have now.

Which side would you want to be on for the following trade:

Non-PPR, QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, performance std scoring:

Matthews and Nicks

for

Julio Jones and AJ Green

I gladly take Julio Jones and AJ Green. My offers of Nicks for either of those have been rejected constantly.

Considering it's pretty much four studs (or soon to be), it's down to what RBs the Green/Jones side has and what RB/WR2 the Mathews/Nicks side has.Given it's pretty balanced RB/WR starting volume wise, would probably prefer Mathews/Nicks, esp without PPR.

12 team, 1 PPR

Team A gave Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, 2013 1st (estimate mid)

Team B gave Arian Foster, Greg Jennings, Ben Tate

Team A receives (rebuilding)Michael FloydJon BaldwinRyan TannenhillTeam B receives (top 4 team)Hakeem Nicks
Awful. That's why that team is rebuilding. Nicks is one of the guys you build around for the rest of the decade, not trade away for a pile of complete unknowns.

What if he doesn't plan to play FF for the rest of the decade?
:?:Isn't that kind of the entire point of "rebuilding" or of dynasty FF in general?

This trade is pending in one of my leagues. Please comment...

Team A Receives

McFadden

Vereen

2012 4th

Team B Receives

Shonn Greene

DeAngelo Williams

Laurent Robinson

Obviously McFadden wins. Nice job of jettisoning 2nd/3rd tier guys for an elite talent.

Matthew/Nicks best RB is CJJulio/AJ best RB is Bradshaw

Floyd and Baldwin could be as good as Nicks in two years. I doubt I would make that trade, but the upside is there. If you're going to give up a star for prospects, you could do a lot worse than getting three first round talents.

Team A gave up Sean Lee

Team B gave up 2.05 and 2.06 (10 team league)

Team C gave up Percy Harvin, Curtis Loftin, 1.10

Team B gave up Matt Ryan

Team A Gave Up

Matt Ryan

2013 1st (mid - late)

2013 2nd (mid - late)

2013 2nd (late)

Team B Gave Up

Matt Stafford

M. Hardesty (Team A owns TRich)

2013 4th (top half)

2013 5th (mid - late)

Just completed 2 trades in my big money dynasty league (12 team PPR).

I Gave Up:

2013 2nd, 2014 2nd (the 2013 2nd I got in a trade last season and that team is bad; so this pick should end up in the 13-15th range)

Received:

Brandon Lloyd (he had both Lloyd and Welker, so he was willing to let lloyd go)

Gave Up:

2013 1st, 2013 2nd

Received:

Mike Wallace

My team is pretty good so the 1st I gave up should be in the 8-12 range. Figured I'd post this to help give an idea of how owners are valuing these guys.

Just before the trade deadline I gave up what would become 1.12 for Brandon Lloyd in my PPR League.

I'm hoping to move him for someone that has the potential to upgrade my RB corps now.

A little surprised the other owner accepted this (though I wouldn't have really offered much more) since the last time I spoke to him he viewed Julio Jones as a top 5 WR but

I gave:

Percy Harvin

Michael Crabtree

Ronnie Hillman

I got

Julio Jones

Then he definately should keep Nicks. :P
I can't believe my league just vetoed the deal.....

That's lame, no way should it be vetoed.

Leagues that allow vetoing or voting on trades are an absolute joke. The commissioner, if at all competent, should be able to sniff out collusion. If he suspects it, THEN you put it up for vote. Allowing other owners to manage the rest of the teams in the league blows my mind. Those votes are always selfish. I'd venture to guess that most that vote for a veto are doing so for the benefit of their own team, not the benefit of the league.
