I'm curious to what Bochy plans to do tomorrow if Bumgarner looks like 2012 MB and not 2010 MB. I assumed Lincecum was the back up

Has Valverde gone to a different windup? I don't remember his oblique stretch shtick before tonight's game. I thought he used to hump his glove right before he threw.

Two hits on 0-2 counts. If Pablo hits one here, we won't have to see Valverde again in this series.
Have to claim injury and get him off the roster after this game, right?
Leyland unlikely to do that but I wish Valverde would just go to them and tell them he's got a shoulder issue. Would help him in free agency also. Scott Boras really knows how to pick'em. :lmao: Hey RN>any more questions about Valverde I can answer for you? Here is your chance. :coffee:

Big fan of using Benoit there, gotta have him right. Now if they bring him back for the 8th, then I'm pissed.

Porcello could use an inning, make it so.

So is the letdown from too much time off?
Well you can't account for Verlander EVER being bad, and the Tigers are pretty bad vs left-handed pitching for some unknown reason. Pretty much the reason we are seeing Bumgarner tomorrow.
That's true.This definitely turns tomorrow into a Must-Win Game.
No doubt. But a split would be more than fine, Tigers are very good at home. Hopefully Fister gets a liberal strike zone, I like their chances tomorrow quite a bit.

Couple more baserunners and a bomb.

Couple more baserunners and a bomb, and the Tigers are right back in this.

-Dan Dickerson before Young hit (tongue in cheek)

ool

Momentum!
