For the Rays. All I've seen for the Sox so far is Lester and Lackey in that order.

 
At some point, the laws of probability are going to have to catch up with Koji Uehara, right?

 
Moore is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA and 0.533 WHIP in two starts against the Red Sox this year.

Price is 2-2 with a 2.48 ERA and 0.673 WHIP in 5 starts against the Red Sox this year

Sox still won 12 of 19 against them. Should be a tight series.

If this thing gets to a game 4 I think they'll kill Hellickson.

Maybe the sophisticates in St. Pete are too wise to fall for this but it seems to happen just about everywhere else.

 
Really love all the Rays pitching matchups in this series. Maybe I've seen too much of Lester and Lackey on fantasy teams over the years, but am I alone thinking Tampa Bay has an enormous edge here?

The sightlines in Fenway are so lousy that a lot of the crowd are just seeing the back of a pink cap.

 
TBS was so caught up in showing the majestic HR shot (that both of us could tell was a pop-up) that they missed the actual play. God this coverage blows

 
Why weren't the Rays on the field prior to the game? Myers fielding has been a liability all year...he could have used it.

When the Rays aren't fielding, they lose.

That was pretty much just a super dumb play him.

 
Crazy stat from today's game.

All 9 Sox starters had a hit and a run scored. 1st time that's happened in the postseason since 1936

 
Price tomorrow at 5:30. Can't wait for this one. Chance to effectively put all the pressure on the Rays going back to Tampa.

Yup. Used to it. Can't even get disappointed.

Price and Cobb in the next 2. If they don't win them both it isn't going to happen, because Hellickson is bringing his gas can in game 4.

 
I know that "momentum is only as good as the next day's starter" and all, but I have to admit I'm a bit surprised that Price is a small favorite today. That was a soul-crushing loss yesterday. Is it safe to bet on the Rays in this spot, or what?

Why was that soul crushing? Would have been much more difficult to get over if you had a 2-3 run lead in the 9th and Rodney imploded. That was just a blowout that was over in the 5th.

Pirates got smoked in game 1 and won game 2. It happens.

Well you might have an argument with him. But he seems pretty high/brain dead out there.

Great start to the first inning. Shaky first for Lackey, but a big DP, and now Ellsbury is on third after a flair. Couldn't have drawn this up any better.

 
See those four losers with the fake beards behind home plate? I hope they catch AIDS by the 7th-inning stretch.
