***2013 Chicago Bears Offseason Thread*** (1 Viewer)

Bears shopping Earl Bennett?

Per Twitter.

Seems like a bad time to sell. Injured and during cut downs. Don't see a huge market.

Webb is as good as gone. In after the Bears backups are out of the game, and he's still getting hammered by backup D players who may not even make a team. Not to mention one of his usual false start penalties. Finally this dude will be out of here. Joe Anderson looking good.

This is the guy Lovie and Tice thought was a franchise LT

I have a feeling Onubun will make the final roster. Yes, his hands suck, but with his size and speed, he could be a project for later and fill in at special teams in the mean time. (not like you have to catch the ball on special teams)

The other options at TE are not exciting either. Maybe someone will come available on the waiver wire..

Just let a ball go through his hands that was returned for a td.

Now how did we all know this 2 years ago but Tice, Lovie and Bensonduncaughtthegay didn't? That's the question.

J'Marcus Webb@jmarcuswebb5mGood bye, Chicago! I gave you 3 years of me.
And after hearing Emery's comments I have a feeling they are going to cut Adams and try to develop Kellen Davis again.

Brandon Hardin cut. I was so stoked by his measurables and potential. Now I'm stoked that Emery is willing to admit a mistake and move on. Love the new mindset.

Nothing wrong with a project for a third TE, just not when it's your starter. Also, as long as you can admit when the project fails and move on, which so far this regime has been ok at doing.

Sure it's a nice quality, but I think I'd prefer a GM who doesn't whiff that badly on high picks.

He improved this draft. Long and Bostic both look legit, Mills is starting at RT beating out an incumbent (albeit terrible incumbent) as a rookie. I also think Wilson is what has made Bennet expendable.

True. I don't even want to discuss the whole rookie right side topic in fear of jinxing it.

I won't miss any of those guys who got cut.

Two iron skillets would be softer than Fendi's hands. I've said this for a long time in relation to Cutler and Flacco... You have a guy throwing the football 60-63 mph and you just can't expect a player with suspect hands to thrive.

Webb is terrible.

Team gets a lot younger. Washington looks much better than he did at Georgia and as a pass rusher and special teamer, that dude has sick limitless potential.

Your fourth best receiver is 20 years old.

Ford is a find who could carry the load if he had to. Allen was overrated trash.
