Correct me if I am wrong but the last Mich St player we drafted shot himself in the leg.....

I hope the FO proves us wrong but that was a horrible pick IMO

The entire NFL has been passing on Lacy. Not just our FO.

At best he has fallen to the bottom of the 2nd.

Even the Packers who are as desperate as we are at RB (and good drafters too) just passed on him in the 2nd.

Packers traded down and got Lacy, next to last pick of round 2. RB#4.

Wouldn't hurt to bring him in to mentor the Steelers backs, if nothing else. He probably won't wait until June for the Steelers to have some cash to sign him.

But is there anywhere else for him to go? Cincy, Steelers and Packers all added 2nd round backs. Those were the three teams he was generally linked with. I don't think there's going to be much interest in him for a bit. Rams and Jets are really the only teams that could stand to add a starter.

I wouldn't mind seeing Terrance Williams from Baylor picked up with next pick. I still think we need another receiver and his hands and size could be useful. Was impressed with the few times I saw him although granted the Big 12 isn't known for its defense
