Highly doubt he come to the EPLI like it... I was wondering if anyone would take a shot - I thought about it during the draft.Angel di Maria - mf - Manchester United (maybe)

Chelsea - TNSSO says they're done
City - Can't afford it with FFP iirc, esp with Mangala(sp) still to come
Liverpool - won't pay what's wanted
Arsenal - Sanchez
United - Di Maria wants CL, not the Carling Cup- Di Maria to PSG and Cavani to United is waaaay more Llikely

How many did we have last year? The draft is over and teams have been entered. Go in and check your squad when you get a chance. I didn't enter placeholders this year because Fantrax didn't populate a the database as widely this year. Let me know when your guys get added in and I'll place them on your team.

...I meant how many speculative picks?None of the non-EPL players will be rostered until they're entered in the Fantrax database. How on earth could you leave Carvalho off that list? And Vidal while you're at it.

FixedSo one of my picks, Ryan Shawcross, is missing from my team. Can I put him in myself or is that something you have to do Eephus?

I'll fix the playoffs.Christo said:I just looked at the rules and it says there are playoffs set up for weeks 37 & 38.
And it says line-ups are locked 1 hour before each payer's game. If we have the ability it should be 1 minute. There's no reason not to let us hear the teams' line-ups before setting ours. In fact, it's dumb if we have the ability.
And I still think we should flip tie-breakers 1 & 2. The rankings should be based on the effort over the entire year rather than only games against those we are tied with.

Agreed. The whole complaint about lack of auto-subs is fixed with this.Seriously - no point in making the deadline 1-hour earlier - might as well make it Friday. Seems silly not to allow line-up changes based on actual game line-ups. Given that most line-ups are released right around an hour before games, too much to check if you have multiple players, and need to fix line-ups.
I'd rather not even have the option, if its not useful.
Well, lets not make any changes this year then.I'll start up the 2015-16 rules discussion thread later today.
I missed the 2014/2015 thread where we locked the 17th round and changed it to a free-for-all too!Well, lets not make any changes this year then.I'll start up the 2015-16 rules discussion thread later today.
Put the deadline back to what it was, and we can discuss for next season. But, if we are going to make any changes from last season, lets discuss before we arbitrarily decide on which changes to implement.
I know I am being kind of an ####### here - and for that I apologize - but it seems the rules have been changed, but for no apparent purpose.
If I understand correctly, the idea is it makes it less likely that East Coasters will be able to get up early enough to make changes. I think the rule assumes that West Coasters can't (and shouldn't) be expected to check their Twitter feeds at that hour.As a west coaster I don't see the big deal if lineups are due 1min before the game. What's the difference between making them set at 4:30am instead of 5:29am? If' I'm(sebowski) not getting up at 5:20 to make changes, what good does it do me to make the deadline earlier?
Hell, I think the 1min rule is better for the majority of games for us out here.![]()

I don't check American football lineups when games start at 1PM, so I'm not the guy to ask. But the concern seems to be that the 1 minute rule does grant East Coasters a more plausible opportunity to make changes than West Coasters.
I may not be as dedicated as the rest of you - but, I am not checking twitter feeds two hours before a game looking for line-up rumors that may or may not be true. I will check the line-ups for moat games, but if I can't do that in time to make any changes, it kind of defeats the purpose of checking. If I understand correctly, the idea is it makes it less likely that East Coasters will be able to get up early enough to make changes.
